Hi pippa, so sorry it’s taken me so long to reply, have been out training on the bike every evening for the upcoming triathlon and by the time I get in, shower, have something to eat, done the bottles, washing, tidying etc (you know the drill!) it’s already so late, and I don’t feel that my head is best for writing, but have realised, better to reply even short one, than not at all, so here is a little one! I hope your posting managed to clear those dark clouds and that you are back in a calmer place. I totally understand where you’re coming from about society allowing our children to just “be” and not be judged – it would be a much nicer place. I imagine that you just want to protect Leo from the world. I think you have to try and hang on to the fact that peoples’ attitudes in the world we live in now are already much better than they were say 50 years ago, and hopefully it will just become better and better, and that by the time Leo is a little older, the people who judge will be firmly in the minority. I have to run as am off to children’s birthday party and am already bit late (as always!) – lots of love to you all
