Hi, my 5 month old baby girl has just been diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, it started with a chest infection then suddenly turned into this condition so it's been a real shock. We were in evelina picu for 4 days then savanna for 7 days and now we're home treating her with 7 doses of drugs a day. I'm a complete neurotic wreck! I'm watching her breathing constantly and looking for signs which may mean she's deteriorating. Does anybody out there have a child with this condition? Would appreciate a chat, I'm a bit new at all this. Thanks.
