Hi Nic, Welcome to ECHO. My son was also diagnosed antenatally with a heart condition and had his heart surgery at 4.5 months (he is now 9.5 months). I can still remember the exact words that were said to us when we were told that our son had a heart condition and the tears we shed. Like you, we were overwhelmed and very scared for our little boy as we were suddenly embarking on an unknown journey. It will be a very emotional time for you at the moment as you struggle to take in the information that you have been told but don't be worried about asking numerous questions to the team at Evelina as they are a great bunch and very patient (even when we used to ask the same questions at each visit). Also don't forget this message board as we all understand how you are feeling at the moment even though we may have experience of different cardiac conditions and you will make some great friends.
I hope the move back to the UK goes well for you and your family.
