Hi All
So I was on the train back from Evelina after an appointment and I was reading the Daily Mail (I know, I know, but it's small and doesn't make your hands dirty!). Anyway......I saw this marvellously funny but potentially very useful product!! It's called a 'Slanket' and it's basically a huge fleecy blanket that's been made with a head hole and arms, like an enormous kaftan! I reckon it's perfect for sleeping in when on the ward. I can't bring myself to take a duvet, but equally, the sheets and blankets are a nightmare (n'est-ce pas?!). Now I know that we're bloomin lucky to be able to stay with our children, but after just one night on the ward last week during Leo's MRI, I felt like I'd had 7 nights' bad sleep, not just 1! So anyway, although it looks hugely comedy, I'm going to get myself one of these Slankets for next time! Available from lots of internet sites, Amazon included. Is anyone going to join me? We could start a trend!! So anyway, just a warning to anyone who might find themselves on Camel Ward during November, if you see a slightly strange apparition of a Mum wandering around in an outsize fleecey blanket, looking like something out of a CBeebies version of Scream, that'll be Moi! x
