I just thought I would let you know that I have found a few ECHO families who live in Colchester and I would be very happy to put you in touch with them.

I expect you will be going to the ante-natal day on the 5th December, that will be a great opportunity to meet other parents and hear a representative (Claire) talk about her experience.
My son was 2 years old when my daughter was born with a heart condition. We didn't know before she was born so my son had a huge shock when we didn't come home as expected and were away for a few weeks. He came and visited us all the time but spent a lot of time with all his grandparents. He was so brave but it was a hard time for him and he is very protective of her now. We always said that when he is older we will tell him just how amazing he was during that time.
