Hi
I'm Mum to Oscar and Grace. Oscar is a 3 1/2 yr old little monkey with HLHS. I haven't posted on here for ages but we are due to go in on the 9th Nov for stage 3 Norwood and I was wondering if anyone will be around? Its always nice to put faces to names and I'm regularly looking on here to see what everyone is up to!!
Starting to feel a bit nervous about the whole thing now. He was 10 months when he had his last op so it feels very different this time round! The next 2 weeks will be full of preparing him and I'm not looking forward to it at all... although I feel he'll probably help prepare us.. they have an amazing ability to take everything in their stride. He's already excited about getting a new 'bypass' teddy!!! If only it could be that simple for the grown ups!!
Hope to catch up with some of you over the next month
