Me again. Am also wondering if anyone out there whose child has had a Rastelli could tell me which surgeon did the operation and when it was? It seems to be quite unusual according to the ccad stats, but the cardiologist said that they've done the procedure 'loads of times'? Would be great to find somebody who can give me some more direct insight...... or alternatively, any mums/dads who've got a little person who is 'heading' for this procedure. It would be interesting to see what you've been told about it, as we haven't had any conversation about it with anyone official and only found out on Friday that this is apparently the approach they intend to use.
