Thank you for taking the time to respond - it really is appreciated.
I've managed to literally blackmail my son into attending the meet@teen workshop next week in London. He doesn't think he needs to go on it, thinks he is coping fine and is desperate to have his surgery before his 16th birthday as he doesn't want it to interfere with his A-levels. He did admit to me that he wants to be treated normal and not as someone who has a heart condition, so I actually do believe it is me who needs to get to grips with this matter more than him
He did once look at the ECHO Message Board but at that time no one had posted anything. I'll also have a look at the transition day details and see what he thinks about this.
Again, really appreciate your help.
