The Dillinger-Era is in full force and the shockwaves have been felt across the Mid-Atlantic territory as his "Fair & Equal" policy has forced a former World Heavyweight Champion to wrestle in the opening bout, prevented the Dynasty from teaming together in Burlington, and all but brought about a tag team title change if it weren't for one death-defying fan favorite... the Kamakazi Kid. Kazi interjected himself into the main event two weeks ago, helping Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride & Tank Lawson retain the AWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles over the Gemini Kid & Jesse Ortega. That interference prompted Commissioner Ty Dillinger to take drastic measures in retaliation. Dillinger has made the Gemini Kid the Commissioner for one night, allowing him to do anything he wants to punish Kazi! Gemini has been furious in his quest to eliminate Kazi from wrestling, whether it be to take his mask or to force him to leave town. Now with Gemini in a position of complete power for the night, it seems clear that this could very well be the last night that the Kamakazi Kid ever appears in the Carolina Sports Arena. Gemini has spent the past two weeks devising a never-before-seen match in which he has privately commented will end the career of Kazi. He has gone so far as to name the event, "KAZI MUST DIE!" What devious match has "Commissioner Gemini" planned? Can Kazi escape the evil intentions yet again to drive Gemini further down the path of insanity? Or will this truly be the death of the Kamakazi Kid? "I have given the reigns to my good friend, the Gemini Kid, because whatever happens to Kazi, believe me, he had it coming," declared Ty Dillinger. "This will be another great night in the history of the CWF Mid-Atlantic, one that will only get brighter with me at the helm. No one, no one can stop me now!" Dillinger exclaimed. Also on tap for this Saturday night will include the possible return of ex-commissioner William L. Cross. Cross vowed to return to the Carolina Sports Arena with Ric Converse & Xsiris should they win the AWA World Tag Team Titles the night before in Cameron, NC. As the Chairman of the Board for the American Wrestling Association, Cross helped the Dynasty tag team receive the title match, although due to Ty Dillinger it could not happen in Burlington, NC. Many fans have called and e-mailed in support of the former commissioner in hopes that he will return to the Carolina Sports Arena and get rid of the newly empowered Ty Dillinger. This night could prove to be as much excitement out of the ring as in the ring with the potential conflict that the Chairman could be in the building. "I want to make something perfectly clear," acting commissioner Gemini Kid stated. "There will be no deviation from Ty Dillinger's 'fair and equal' policy he has instituted. Dillinger has leveled the playing field here in the CWF Mid-Atlantic, and this Saturday night will be more of the same." Gemini continued, "As commissioner for the night, I will insure that everyone is treated fairly and equally. And that includes Ric Converse, Rob 'Boogie Woogie Man' McBride, and most importantly, the Kamakazi Kid. Fans can expect to see McBride & Lawson in action again, as my masterpiece, I will debut another first-ever match that Kazi will participate in." Commissioner Gemini also informed us that Destiny member "Simply" Steve Greene will also be in action, defending his AWA Mid-Atlantic Television Title. Also slated for action includes Brass Munkey, Marcellus King, "The Neon Lions" Chris Collins & Lee Valiant, "A Very Handsome Man" Mitch Connor, Donnie Dollars, Jesse Ortega, Michael McAllister, and many more!!!
