Here is the other results from a great night of both CWF Mid Atlantic and South Atlantic Wrestling....... Opening match seen "The King of Controversy" Robert Royal defeating Jefferson Early by DQ when "The Manager of Champions" Neil Sharkey and his band of thugs Totally Awesome and SAW TV Champion Mike Vaughn run in to attack Royal as he was beginning to get the upper hand. During the post match beatdown......Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride and Ace Montana drive down to the ring in Boogies cadillac to make the safe. After wards Rob McBride majkes challenge for a 6 man bunkhouse match later in the evening with him, Ace, and Royal taking on Totally Awesome and Mike Vaughn. Match 2: The Neon Lions defeated Totally Awesome with Neil Sharkey in thier first ever meeting between these two great tag teams. South Atlantic Wrestling representative Tim Daniels of Zone Championship Wrestling read a statement sent to him earlier in the day from the office stating that due to "Mr. Mid Atlantic" Damien Wayne no fulfilling his commitment to a Loser Leaves Town match with Q Sic and refusing to come to Martinsville, that Damien Wayne and his manager Big Lou have been indefinitely suspended by South Atlantic Wrestling. Match 3: J Synn defeated "Ultra Dragon" Rian Andrews in a great back and forth contest. Thes e 2 have done battle plenty of times in the past andboth competitors gace it thier all but it was J Synn getting the victory in the end and is now climibing the ranks of South Atlantic Wrestling. Match 4: 6 Man Bunkhouse Match And in the main event as explained at the begining of this report The AWA Mid Atlantic Championship match between champion Joey Silvia and Brandon Day ended up being ruled a no contest after further review. But for the moment in Martinsville last night the fans had left there thinking they had a new champion in Brandon Day. Both guys went for 30 minutes or more and this match is without a doubt the best one to hit South Atlantic Wrestling yet. We are very sure these 2 have not settled the score on this one and a rematch is going to be hopefully signed for July 21st. In attendence to this event was local legendary wrestler Skull Krusher and Richmond Lucha Libre star That Guy Dave. We appreicate those who came out to see this historic event in Martinsville and next years Wrestle War will be held in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Thanks to CWF Mid Atlantic for thier effort in helping us make this event happen. You can not ask for greater guys in Jeff Rudd and William Cross. Also thanks to Zone Championships Wrestling Time Daniels for his assistance in helping us with this event last night. We owe you one bud. And last but not leat we want to thank Keith Krockett of Pro Wrestling Mid Atlantic for his assitance in helping us sanction this event for the fans of Martinsville. Even though the attendence was low, the crowd was enthusiastic and we appreciate those who did come out to enjoy WRESTLE WAR 07.
Well a decision came down from referee Carlton Banks and South Atlantic Wrestling representative Tim Daniels (Zone Championship Wrestling)that Joey Silvia had his foot on the outside of the bottom rope and after referee Carlton Banks being dazed after getticng accidentaly knocked down by Brandon Day near the end of the match, it is the ruling of South Atlantic Wrestling and CWF Mid Atlantic that the match is being ruled a non contest and therefore the AWA Mid Atlantic Title still belongs to Joey Silvia. A Rematch is going to be negotiated on Monday morning for these 2 to meet one on one in Burlington, NC when South Atlantic Wrestling returns to the Carolina Sports Arena.
This match went for close to 20 minutes and both teams really brought it to the enthusiastic Martinsville crowd.
Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride, "The King of Controversy" Robert Royal, and Ace Montana defeated the team of Totally Awesome and SAW TV Champion Mike Vaughn w/ Neil Sharkey in a wild pier 6 brawl style Bunkhouse match that had action going all over parts of ringside and even a bit outside of ringside. McBride, Royal, and Ace enter the ringside area driving up in Boogies white cadillac with the referee of this matchp....Bobby Lee Duke in the trunk. During the course of this match, most of the action was fought on the outside with people getting slammed through tables and even Neil Sharkey managed to get popped a couple of times for trying to interfere during this match. End of this wild match came when Mcbride gave a second rope elbow drop to one of the members of Totally Awesome scoring the pinfall.
