UPWA 10/6 Results from Wilmington, NC

The fastest growing wrestling promotion in the southeast packed the National Guard Armory in Wilmington North Carolina to with a crowd of nearly 205 fans when UPWA rolled into town on October 6th. In a double Main Event, first Donald Brower Enterprises Member Pete Nixon and Sexton Tyler was a no contest. The match never got started as UPWA Heavyweight Champion Playby Marcus Shields attacked Tyler on his way to the rig for his earlier interference. Donald Brower then placed his foot on Tyler and had the ref count to three and claimed to beat him. The Sons of the New South made the save and challenged D.B.E. to a six man tag next month pitting Tyler, The Destroyer and Doc Holiday vs Shields, Andrew Anderson and Donald Brower which was accepted. In the other Main Event, Beast beat Draven by DQ. Mack Truck def The Destroyer by DQ in First round action of the UPWA Carolina Tournament. Brower entered the ring and hit Truck to cause the disqualification. Scotty Saber def. Playboy Marcus Shields in First round action of the UPWA Carolina Tournament when Sexton Tyler interfered. Mean Marc Ash def. Super Mario in First round action of the UPWA Carolina Tournament. Dave Dawson def. Sabertooth in First round action of the UPWA Carolina Tournament. K.C. McKnight def. Eric Evans in a mat classic. In the opening contest, Mike Levy and Chris Solar def. Nave and the Waco Kid.
