CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington, NC this Saturday, October 20th, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a full card of great action featuring a huge Six-Man Street Fight! "Cross wants a fight? Well he's going to get more than he bargained for!" shouted Commissioner Ty Dillinger. "This Saturday night, Destiny is taking it to the street. We're going to fight all over the Carolina Sports Arena, all through the parking lot, and across Alamance Road into the Burlington Airport. And it's not going to stop until we've destroyed Ric Converse, the Madd Trucker, and most of all, William Cross!" Dillinger exclaimed. This Saturday's main event has been surrounded by controversy since it was announced two weeks ago. Commissioner Dillinger was bragging how he could whip Cross in a Street Fight, of course this was after he had Cross tossed from the building after challenging him to show up and fight after the CWF's 6th Annual 30-Man Rumble had concluded. However that challenge was heard by Cross, Ric Converse and Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens who all confronted Dillinger and his "VIP" stable. Dillinger responded by saying he was joking, but Converse let the Commissioner know it didn't matter if the match was official or not, because there was going to be a Street Fight on October 20th whether in the Carolina Sports Arena, the parking lot, or out on Highway 62. With no choice left, Dillinger, Joey Silvia, and Steve Greene reluctantly agreed to meet the fan favorites in the brutal match. However the controversy didn't end that night, it's been building for two straight weeks. Fans have heard rumors that Destiny was simply going to chicken out and not show up to face Team Cross. Since breaking Ric Converse's brother's arm, all the Destiny members have been keeping their distance from Converse, including using security guards to protect themselves. But with all the talk on the internet, phone calls, and out right lies being spread, Commissioner Dillinger has been fired up by all this talk, sending out a stinging press release calling anyone that dared say Destiny wouldn't be up for the fight a "lying sack of s**t." With this incredible main event now secure, it's only hours away from taking place, and fans and wrestlers are waiting for this historic conflict. Both teams have vowed to end the careers of their opponents. Commissioner Dillinger has publicly stated he intends to send former commissioner William Cross to the hospital and permanently keep him from ever returning to the Carolina Sports Arena. Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Joey Silvia will finally have to face Ric Converse after the heinous attack on Ric's brother. Converse will be out for blood seeking his revenge. Mid-Atlantic Television Champion Steve Greene will again face "The Madd Trucker" Garry Stevens, who has already beaten the champion in singles action. But this time all six will collide in a Street Fight, a match where anything goes! Expect to see non-stop mayhem and it's almost a certainty that blood will spill in this one! But will this finally be a night of justice being served or will Destiny spell the end of Team Cross forever?! "Cross, you and your team better show up!" declared Ty Dillinger. He concluded, "Because I don't want any excuses for when I beat you all over the street. Joey Silvia, Steve Greene, and myself are not scared of any of you! We'll be at the Carolina Sports Arena this Saturday night ready to fight!" While the main event will likely overshadow anything that is happening anywhere in Burlington, there is another major match signed for this Saturday night that cant' be overlooked. Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions Jesse Ortega & Gemini Kid will make their first title defense against the newly formed team of the Kamakazi Kid & Xsiris. There is probably as much bad blood between these four as there is in the main event. Expect a hard hitting tag team bout that could easily end with Ortega & Gemini entering the record books with the fewest title defenses in the history of the company. Especially with the champions looking over the shoulders for Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride and Tank Lawson, who defeated them last week in Gibsonville and left with their championship belts even though it was a non-title encounter. Gemini & Ortega reclaimed their title belts on Tuesday night, after reporting them stolen to local police. "We offered those thieves many opportunities to return our property, contacting our lawyers, sending numerous legal letters and demands, calling the city attorney, the FBI, the CIA, and even the WWE to try and resolve this. But Boogie and Tank are common criminals so we called in a favor and had them handled like they deserve. Everyone will see this Saturday we have our title belts back and will be defending them against two more cowards in Kazi and Xsiris," stated the Gemini Kid. "This is just the first of our future record setting title reign," noted Gemini. Also on tap for Saturday night is a special challenge match between Sheik Lumpkin's Weapons of Mass Destruction and Alex Adonis & Marcellus King. This is a red hot feud but one that the Sheik claims will be ending as he unveils his newest acquisition. Brass Munkey will also appear but his current status is questionable. Munkey suffered a knee injury at the 7th Annual CWF Rumble, and further injured it competing at the Gibsonville Fall Brawl last weekend. All this and so much more! It's a night of action that you will be talking about for months to come. You can't be late for "A Date With Destiny." Don't you dare miss it!!! Link: Still Makin' the Donuts! www.IndyInsiders.Com
