CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington, NC this Saturday, December 1st, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a full card of great action featuring a Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title match and huge news about BattleCade VIII!
In preparation for the CWF Anniversary event, BattleCade VIII, a huge night of action and announcements are set to take place this Saturday night! Commissioner Cross has been working overtime to prepare for the year end event and his plans will be revealed this Saturday night. But that is just part of the "Road to BattleCade."
Headling the card will be Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens defending his Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title against former tag team partner, "Handsome" Mitch Connor. The two were once a dominant force, controlling the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles. However those days are long gone since Connor refused to select Stevens at a CWF-MAX event. Now this once powerful tag team is set to collide in singles action, with the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title on the line!
Giving Mitch Connor another shot at the heavyweight crown was just one of many things that Commissioner Cross has done since regaining control of the company from Ty Dillinger. "This was a match that Mitch Connor deserved, and frankly, one that the fans demanded. I think it will be a historic night for both competitors and the fans will be the real winners in this one," noted Commissioner Cross.
Also announced for this Saturday night, 1/2 of the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions, Jesse Ortega, will face "Rock 'n' Roll" Matty Dee in a singles contest. Ortega's partner, the Gemini Kid, having suffered the humiliation of having his head shaved after the Cage of Death Match at Ultimate Survivor V, refused to appear this weekend. Gemini notified the CWF Mid-Atlantic offices that he was taking this weekend off to heal up from injuries suffered during the Cage of Death Match in preparation for BattleCade VIII. Although speculation is that Gemini did not want to appear with his newly bald head.
However the Kamakazi Kid is most definitely suffering from injuries from that match. Kazi has asked to wrestle this Saturday night, but his status is still in question. He has suffered broken ribs and still having difficulty breathing. The price he paid for Gemini's hair was high indeed.
Meanwhile, Alex Adonis, not satisfied with the results of the Cage of Death, has demanded to face Arab Army member, Marcellus King. Adonis had hoped to win the hair of King at Ultimate Survivor V, but King escaped. Now Adonis wants to settle it one-on-one. The question is whether Sheik Lumpkin will allow his charge to face the dangerous Adonis. You'll find out this Saturday night when Sheik Lumpkin answers the challenge.
Also scheduled to appear include Ric Converse, Xsiris, Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride, Tank Lawson, Chris Collins, Corey Edsel, Donnie Dollars, Trent Wylde, Michael McAllister and more!
Don't you dare miss it!!!
