CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington, NC this Saturday, February 2nd, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a huge event with a full card of action!
The main event is sure to please the fans as Ric Converse reunites with Xsiris to battle the VIPs! There is a tremendous amount of history between the Dynasty and VIP factions, and this Saturday night in Burlington they will collide again.
As the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions, Jesse Ortega & Gemini Kid have formally refused to face any more US tag teams, claiming they have defeated everyone that Commissioner Cross and the fans have put against them. The champions claim that it's time they get what they want, which is to face the "better competition that exists south of the border." Their lucha libre ties are well known as both men actively promote the style and have competed with some top stars from Mexico.
However this Saturday the VIPs will be in action against a duo that has proven to be the best in the world before, in Converse & Xsiris. While it will be a non-title confrontation, a title bout will hang in the balance. Should Converse & Xsiris pick up the win, it will earn a future tag title match. However should the VIPs win, they will secure a shot at the Mid-Atlantic Hwt. Title held by Converse.
"Who's more deserving of a heavyweight title bout than the members of the VIPs?" questioned Gemini Kid. "Now that we ended the career of midget manager Ty Dillinger and his best bud Joey Silvia is busy caring for the cripple, we're back to track to run the CWF again. Steve Greene was robbed two weeks ago. He deserves a rematch and this week he can take it... or perhaps Jesse Ortega will get it. It really doesn't matter as long as the VIPs have all the belt," he concluded.
Meanwhile there will be a championship bout on Saturday night. The newly crowned Ultra J Crown holder, Kamakazi Kid, will put the title on the line against multiple challengers. The Ultra J Crown is a unique title that promotes a fast-paced action-packed match. With the Kamakazi Kid as champion, there is no doubt this will be the case. But who will he face and how many will challenge him? It'll be a surprise for even Kazi what... or whom he will face in Burlington!
Also scheduled for action is a return bout from two weeks ago. Fatback Enterprises scored a victory over Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride & Brass Munkey. On the upcoming event, Brass Munkey will seek to even things up as he faces Fatback's Donnie Dollars. This will certainly prove to be a hard-hitting affair as the very popular Brass Munkey has his sights set on working his way to the top of the Mid-Atlantic territory.
All this and so much more including Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride, Tank Lawson, Alex Adonis, Fatback Enterprises' Corey Edsel, Sheik Lumpkin's Arab Army, and more in action this Satuday night in Burlington, NC at the Carolina Sports Arena!
Don't you dare miss it!!!
