++Commissioner Cross introduced Tank Lawson to the fans and Lawson told them he was tired of jumping through hoops for Steve Greene and that he wanted his title shot. Cross, suggesting that it was possible for Yamaha to win the main event and the title, stated he had already spoken to Yamaha about title defenses should he win and Yamaha stated he would honor the title shot owed to Lawson by current champion Steve Greene.
++Newcomer manager Bobby O’Neil came to the ring between the third and fourth match to razz CWF Mid Atlantic and to call out Brass Munkey for beating up another one of his charges at a previous event, Gluteus Maximus. He promised that he had something for Munkey, prompting him to appear and ask for a microphone of his own. The two traded barbs for just a second before Munkey entered the ring to take out the mouthy manager. An unknown wrestler slid into the ring behind Munkey and together with O’Neil, forced Munkey to the canvas and tied him up in a painful submission move. Commissioner Cross hit the ring area demanding the newcomers leave the ring or forfeit the right to enter the CWF as competitors. The newcomers released the hold on Munkey, who through the pain stated he would take on the attacker in singles action on April 5th when CWF Mid Atlantic returns to action.
++Chances are you know this already, but here goes anyways: These event results are courtesy of IndyInsiders.Com and if copied and pasted ANYWHERE should include THIS note! If not, it was posted by some poopy-diaper baby who doesn’t get out on weekends...
++After continued demands to only defend their titles against Mexican tag teams under Lucha rules, Commissioner Cross produced two of the best-known performers from south of the border, Las Chivas Numero Uno y Numero Dos. The two masked performers took it to the champions despite the rules demanding that BOTH men be defeated for the titles to change hands. At about the 15 minute mark, two MORE masked Las Chivas made their way to the ring, taunting the Mid Atlantic champs along the way. Distracted and out-wrestled, both of Las Chivas hit top-rope moves and covered Gemini & Ortega for an unexpected double pinfall. Las Chivas, beginning to celebrate, removed their masks to reveal Xsiris & Kamakazi Kid as the actual new CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions.
++CWF Mid Atlantic has been having problems with their website’s nameserver and should be very close to unveiling their brand new fan-friendly and interactive website sometime during the next few days. The new site will be found at CWF247.com, replacing the former site with a lot of updated information on coming events and the CWF Mid Atlantic roster.
++A big thanks to all of the new fans that made their "debuts" at the Carolina Sports Arena tonight, it was a packed hot house and possibly one of the LOUDEST groups to EVER assemble at the CSA! A million thanks for joining us for Keys To The VIP.
++CWF Mid Atlantic returns to action on Saturday April 5th at Burlington NC’s Carolina Sports Arena for another big TV Taping! CWF Mid Atlantic returns to the Sumner Civitans Ballfield on Saturday April 19th for SUPERBRAWL II!
