CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington, NC this Saturday, June 7th, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a huge event with a full card of action!
As fans and wrestlers alike try to come to grips with the shocking conclusion to the May 17th event, this Saturday night "The Aftermath" is upon us all! Commissioner Cross stunned everyone as he revealed to a downed Ric Converse and Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride that he was behind the myspace campaign and video montages that had captured everyone's imagination.
Cross left the building after giving an ultimatum to Ric Converse. Converse has until this Saturday night to let Cross know if he is going to join "The Aftermath" or deal with the consequences if he declines. Cross isn't the only one waiting to find out. Converse's upcoming title match opponent, Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride, is concerned if Converse will cross the line. Both men were laid out at "Revelations" when the so-called mystery man finally made his appearance. One more CWF superstar, Brass Munkey, actually chased the masked man out of the arena and it is certain that Munkey is poised to learn Converse's response as well as all the fans.
Converse will be in non-title action too, as he faces Fatback Enterprises' Matthew de Nero. de Nero is coming off a huge win, as he defeated Mikael Yamaha in their "Last Match." With the victory, manager Brad Stutts requested and received the non-title match against Converse.
"I don't want to say I'm certain, but it looks like Commissioner Cross has seen the light, and with his change of vision, recognizes the greatness of Fatback Enterprises," stated manager Brad Stutts. "Matthew de Nero is going to keep his winning ways in effect and after we defeat Ric Converse in a non-title matchup, we will instantly become the number one contender to the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title. A title that every member of my Fatback Enterprises could very well hold if we continue to get opportunities from the 'new' Cross," concluded Stutts.
While Ric Converse faces a tough challenge from de Nero, he had better not be too focused on the controversy swirling around Commissioner Cross, or he could quickly find himself losing to the talented Matthew de Nero.
In addition, a huge grudge tag team bout will headline the event, as 1/2 of the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions, Xsiris, teams with 1/2 of Ty Dillinger's Destiny tag team, Lee Valiant. The pairing, ordered by Commissioner Cross, could very well push the already tense atmosphere between the Tag Team Champions and Destiny, as has been seen in the past few weeks.
The duo will face the hated VIPs, as two of the three members, Jesse Ortega & "High Definition" Steve Greene, will face the fan favorites. The VIPs struck just a week ago in Gibsonville, as Ortega & Gemini Kid re-injured the arm of Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride. The VIPs are certain to attempt to create even more problems between Xsiris & Kamakazi Kid and Destiny, as they seek to reclaim the Tag Team Title belts.
A win by the VIPs could potentially earn them a series of title bouts in different combinations of VIP members. This is a definite grudge bout and fans can expect nothing but hard-hitting between these hated enemies.
Plus the new Mid-Atlantic TV Champion, Tank Lawson, will make his first title defense. Commissioner Cross has yet to reveal who Lawson's opponent will be, and by doing so, potentially helping the challenger with the surprise factor.
All this and so much more including Brass Munkey, Mikeal Yamaha, Mitch Connor, Roy Wilkins, General McAllister, RGL Champion Nick Richards, and more in action this Satuday night in Burlingon, NC at the Carolina Sports Arena!
Don't you dare miss it!!!
