*** DOUBLE MAIN EVENT! SPECIAL STIPULATIONS! DREAM TAG MATCH!
CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington, NC this Saturday, June 21st, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a huge event with a full card of action.
The event name "Absolute Justice" brings memories of last year's epic event which drew a standing room only capacity crowd. This year's "Absolute Justice 2008" is set to do the same as ticket reservations are at an all time high. If you have not reserved seats, we strongly suggest you do so immediately!
Unlike last year, this year's "Absolute Justice" could see anything but justice as Commissioner Cross has signed two of the most controversial match-ups in the history of the company. A special Double Main Event will see fan favorites versus fan favorites in these huge top title bouts.
After revealing himself as behind the movement known as "The Aftermath," Commissioner Cross demanded Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Ric Converse join his side. Converse refused to cross the line and now the Commissioner has added a special stipulation to Saturday night's title bout... the heavyweight crown can change hands on a disqualification! Cross even went as far to state that if he enters the ring and hits McBride, the referee will have no choice but to disqualify Converse which will in turn award the championship to his opponent... that is anything but Absolute Justice!
Converse and the world-wide video phenomenon, Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride, will face off for the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title. Both want to walk out of Burlington with the coveted championship belt, but the question everyone is asking, will justice be served in this match?
The controversy continues as well as speculation has swirled around the trio of Converse, McBride, and Brass Munkey in regards to "The Aftermath." Will Comissioner Cross reveal another piece of the Aftermath puzzle this Saturday night and will it effect the future of the heavyweight title?
The second half of the double main event is a "Dream Tag Team Match" for the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles. Defending champions, Kamakazi Kid and Xsiris will face Ty Dillinger's "Destiny", Joey Silvia and Lee Valiant. A tag match that fans never thought they would see came to fruition just two weeks ago as the VIPs, Jesse Ortega & Steve Greene, helped to instigate the confrontation that broke out between the fan favorites.
Last year's "Absolute Justice" was the biggest night of Lee Valiant's career, as he won the "Everything to Lose Match" and captured the Mid-Atlantic TV Title. Will Valiant's luck run true again at this year's event and bring the tag team titles to his waist? It was also unlucky for the Kamakazi Kid as he fell in the "Prison Yard Match" albeit under controversial circumstances. The injuries received during that match kept him out of action for the rest of the summer. Can Kazi overcome the "Absolute Justice" jinx? This bout is one that both teams have wanted and now it's going to happen under less that the best conditions.
Commissioner Cross was happy to announce the championship bout for "Absolute Justice" between the two teams, and with the win by the VIPs over the combination of the two teams that night, placing them as the 1 contenders to take on whoever comes out of Burlington with the titles. However a huge announcement is rumored to be announced this Saturday regarding this match. You'll have to be in attendance to find out... but it could involve the status of one of the key figures in this contest!
All this and so much more including Brass Munkey, Mikeal Yamaha, Mitch Connor, the VIPs (Jesse Ortega, Steve Greene & Gemini Kid), Brad Stutts' Fatback Enterprises, General McAllister, RGL Champion Nick Richards, and more in action this Satuday night in Burlingon, NC at the Carolina Sports Arena!
Don't you dare miss it!!!
