CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington, NC this Saturday, December 6th, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a huge event with a full card of action!
This is the final countdown to the CWF anniversary event, "Battlecade IX", as the "Road to Battlecade" will feature a TV Title bout, Rising Generation League Tournament matches, and the HUGE contract signing making the main event for Battlecade IX official!
Brass Munkey issued his challenge to Ric Converse. As the winner of the 2008 Johnny Weaver Cup, Munkey earned a guaranteed title shot at the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship. Munkey requested it happened at the anniversary event, Battlecade. This Saturday night both competitors will meet in the ring to sign the championship contract and make that main event official.
"We'll sign the contract," commented suspended commissioner and manager of the Aftermath, William L. Cross. "It will be Brass Munkey's death warrant. He picked the worst possible night to challenge Ric. Ric is undefeated at Battlecade events. That won't change," he concluded.
Three big matches have been announced for this Saturday night. Marcellus King will defend his Mid-Atlantic Television Title against a former champion, Mitch Connor. Connor is coming off a huge win at "Ultimate Survivor" having shaving the head of his former manager bald. This Saturday, Connor hopes to extend his winning ways and reclaim a title he dominated in the past.
The Rising Generation League will feature two semi-final bouts as last year's winner, Nick Richards will face the red hot rookie, Chase Dakota. Also in a battle of "David versus Goliath," the lightning fast Chiva Kid takes on "Big" Ray Kandrack. The winners will face off at Battlecade IX for the 2008 RGL Tournament Championship.
As if that wasn't enough, the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions, Xsiris & Mikael Yamaha, will also be in action! All this and more!
Don't you dare miss it!!!
