CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington, NC this Saturday, February 7th, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a huge event with a full card of action!
It will be the "End of an Era" this Saturday night as Destiny's Ty Dillinger battles VIP member Gemini Kid. This is the final bout in a three match series where the VIP members controlled Destiny member's fate. However so far Destiny has won in both previous matchups. This time the stakes will be the highest ever, as not only will the loser be forced to leave, but his entire faction!
"There is only one was to settle this feud," commented 'The King of Heat' Gemini Kid. "The VIPs are sick of seeing Destiny get away with everything they do, so it's time they go. I'm going to do what no one else could, and that is get rid of Destiny, FOREVER!" the King of Heat stated.
The manager of Destiny, Ty Dillinger, responded in kind, "How long have we and all the fans been tired of seeing the VIPs try to destroy careers and ruin celebrations in the CWF? Too damn long I say!" Dillinger continued, "I may be a manager, but all the fans know, and so does everyone I've been in the ring with, when it comes times to fighting, Ty Dillinger can get the job done. This Saturday night you are going to see me kick @ss like you've never seen before, and I promise you, I promise you on my mother's life, it will be the end of an era!"
That brutal match could be the last match ever for Ty Dillinger in the CWF Mid-Atlantic, but it could also be the last matches for the rest of the Team Destiny. Knowing this, they offered up open challenges to any team brave enough to battle them on their potential last night in CWF Mid-Atlantic.
Commissioner "Madd Trucker" Garry Stevens quickly offered TV Champion Lee Valiant a challenger in Roy Wilkins. Wilkins had won the right to challenge for the title three weeks ago in a triangle match.
But finding a team that would step up to the challenge until word reached the William L. Cross. "While the Aftermath's goals are to control every title, and we should only be in title bouts, but this is one opportunity that we could not pass up," commented Cross. "The chance to send Destiny out with a big loss on their final night in the CWF, well, what could possibly be sweeter than for Ric Converse to pin Joey Silvia one last time?" the diabolical Cross laughed as he ended his comments.
It will be Destiny's Joey Silvia & Steve Greene against the Aftermath's Ric Converse & Marcellus King in what many are claiming will be Destiny's last match ever in the CWF. Silvia and Converse back in the ring against each other, one last time!
As if all that wasn't enough, the new Commissioner shocked everyone when he announced the first title defense for Brass Munkey to be held this Saturday night as well. Munkey has stated he will be his own kind of champion, he's not changing for anyone, and will defend the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title against anyone. This Saturday night Commissioner Stevens has stunned everyone by announcing that Brass Munkey will defend the title against Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champion, Xsiris!
"This is a premiere matchup, champion versus champion, and a matchup that probably no one would have ever expected to see in Burlington. And that is exactly why they are going to see it," noted the Madd Trucker Garry Stevens. "As new commissioner, I am definitely going to shake things up, and this match is definitely going to do just that," Stevens concluded.
All this and so much more including Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride, Jesse Ortega, Evan Banks & Michael McAllister with Bobby O'Neil, The Chiva Kid, and more!
"The End of an Era" looks to be one night of wrestling that fans will be kicking themselves if they are not in Burlington this Saturday night. Two huge grudge matches, two huge title matches, plus more great action!
Don't you dare miss it!!!
