+++Assistant Commissioner Cornelius J. Lumpkin interrupted an on-mic tirade by the Aftermath's Converse & Cross, who were complaining about the lack of an offer for a Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Title rematch against Brass Munkey. Alex Adonis, who entered the ring to reiterate his open challenge to Converse, demanded the five-time former champion quit running and face him. Lumpkin ordered Aftermath's O'Reilly & King to the dressing room area, informing them that they would face Munkey & Adonis in tag team action immediately following Converse's impromptu ordered bout against Cecil Scott. The tag team bout had an added incentive when Lumpkin added that should the Aftermath team win, Converse would get his title rematch against Munkey, but should they lose, Adonis would get his match against Converse.

+++The Syndicate's "Untouchable" Evan Banks & Michael "the Fury" McAllister made their way to the ring for the main event with manager Bobby O'Neill, only to be followed out by Assistant Commissioner Lumpkin. Lumpkin made the statement that due to an injury Xsiris could not wrestle and was not in attendance at the Carolina Sports Arena. Calling out the other half of the Mid Atlantic Tag Champions, "Box Office Draw" Mikael Yamaha, Lumpkin informed the champion that the time limit to defend the titles would expire before the next CWF event and that he would have to defend the titles alone or forfeit them after the final bell. Yamaha agreed to defend the titles and fought tooth-and-nail against the challengers in a totally unexpected handicap situation. Yamaha gave it his all before being overwhelmed by the actual 3-on-1 odds after the sixteen minute mark of the main event.
