CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington, NC this Saturday, March 7th, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a huge event with a full card of action!
Lee Valiant has a special message for the Destiny/VIP stable, "Don't Call It a Comeback!" Valiant, put out of action when a bottle was shattered over his head by Joey Silvia and then beaten senseless by Silvia, Steve Greene, Jesse Ortega, Gemini Kid & Ty Dillinger, will make his return this Saturday night to seek revenge against his foes. Valiant was paired up with another former TV Champion, the returning Tank Lawson! Roy Wilkins and Rob "The Boogie Woogie Man" McBride round out Valiant's team, however McBride has had to withdraw from the match.
But don't think Valiant had to wait long to find a substitute. There's plenty of wrestlers that want to get their hands on the out-of-control Destiny/VIP faction that claims they "do anything we want, anytime we want, to anyone we want." That slogan has upset many other grapplers, especially those that have had to feel the brunt of their gangland tactics. Cue one large angry black man named Arik Royal.
The budding superstar has run into the VIPs on many occasions, and just a few weeks ago nearly disassembled the Destiny/VIP stable by himself! It was an easy decision for Valiant to accept Royal's offer to step into the main event.
"Let me tell you something!" manager Ty Dillinger proclaimed. "Someone is going to have to bail me out of jail when I get to Burlington on Saturday because I did not approve a contract with Arik Royal in the match. As far as we're concerned, this match is invalid and if the Commissioner Madd Trucker or his flunkie Lumpkin get in my face, I'm going to put them in the same hospital I put Lee Valiant in. It's not going to be a match on Saturday night, I'm so fired up, it's going to be a drive-by because we are going to leave a building full of bodies on the floor!"
Dillinger continued, "It really doesn't matter who teams up with Lee Valiant, they are all going down because Destiny & the VIPs do anything we want, anytime we want, and nobody is going to stop us... NOBODY!"
In addition to the huge 8-man main event, the newly crowned Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions will be in action. "The Sindicate" (Michael McAllister & Evan Banks) managed by Bobby O'Neil, walked out of the Carolina Sports Arena two weeks ago with the biggest prize for teams, as they defeated Mikael Yamaha and the missing-in-action Xsiris. O'Neil has promised to defend the newly won titles, but will it be against the former champions? Or will William L. Cross call in his "favor" and The Aftermath take on the new champs? This could prove to be the pivotal moment in the tag ranks this Saturday night!
Also on tap will be a singles grudge match as Alex Adonis won his way through The Aftermath, earning a match against Ric Converse. Adonis has been trying to get Converse in the ring, and now finally he will get his wish!
Plus on this "night of comebacks," Amber O'Neal & Krissy Vaine will once again team up as the return as Team Blondage. See these two bombshells in action only at the Carolina Sports Arena this Saturday night!
Scheduled matches for this Saturday night include:
- MID-ATLANTIC TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
New champions, "The Sindicate" (Michael McAllister & Evan Banks) managed by Bobby O'Neil, make their first title defense
- EIGHT MAN REVENGE CHALLENGE
Destiny/VIPs (Joey Silvia, Steve Greene, Jesse Ortega & Gemini Kid with manager Ty Dillinger) vs. Lee Valiant, Tank Lawson, Roy Wilkins, Arik Royal (substituting for Rob McBride)
Also scheduled for action include:
- Mid-Atlantic Hwt. Champion Brass Munkey
- Ric Converse with manager William L. Cross vs. Alex Adonis
- Team Blondage (Amber O'Neal & Krissy Vaine)
- and more!
Don't you dare miss it!!!
