++Very special guests "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant, "Pride of the USA" Don Kernodle, "the Original Rock" Rocky Kernodle, Rich Landrum & Wendy Weaver were on hand to help dedicate the new Mid Atlantic Sportatorium to the legendary Johnny Weaver. The facility's grand opening proved to be a winner, with the parking lot completely full 45 minutes before bell-time. The opening ceremonies were delayed several minutes as the crew set up the last of the bleachers as more and more people filed into the building. The first man to make his entrance into the new Mid Atlantic Sportatorium was two-time Man of the Year, "Pops" Wenkel, who was instrumental in the construction of the new facility. Commissioner "Madd Trucker" Garry Stevens and William L. Cross, the owner of the company that owns CWF, presented Jimmy Valiant and Don Kernodle with their plaques inducting them into the exclusive CWF Mid Atlantic Hall of Fame before Wendy Weaver presented last year's Weaver Cup Tournament winner Brass Munkey with a new trophy to replace the one Ric Converse destroyed. Cross then presented Weaver with a plaque honoring her father Johnny Weaver, as well as one which will be displayed in the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium dedicating the facility to his memory.

++Matt Smith, who left the arena Friday night hot under the collar for a miscue by tag partner Chiva Kid, which left him seeing stars, came into the match with a fire, matching moves with the high-flying Mexican star. Smith, a true rookie who had only recently won his very first bout, won his first title in fine fashion with a convincing pinfall.
++The Torneo Cibernetico at this year's ABSOLUTE JUSTICE had a winner's prize of being the new #1 Contenders for the CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Titles. Team Fatback's Edsel & Dollar$ were the last two competitors standing after nearly 35 minutes of battling and already have their sites set on the current champions VIPs "King of Heat" Gemini Kid & Jesse "El Fuego" Ortega.
++"Box Office Draw" Mikael Yamaha introduced his partner for his tag title shot, the lovely Amber O'Neal. Following the bout, which ended sourly for Yamaha & O'Neal, the recently absent Xsiris made his way to the ring. Yamaha wasn't receptive to what his "best friend" had to say, explaining that he lost both the tag titles and the right to ever tag with him again due to a forced handicap match because of X's absence. The two left the ring after several tense moments and the declaration that O'Neal was a much more trustworthy partner than Xsiris ever was by Yamaha.
++Destiny's Silvia, Greene & Dillinger, along with VIPs Ortega & Gemini, attacked "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant during INTERMISSION as he was making his way back to the locker room after meeting fans. Valiant was left lying on the entry ramp, writhing in pain by the five-on-one attack. McBride & Lee Valiant made the save and eventually helped the Hall of Famer to the locker room area.
++Despite constant attacks on the back of injured spine of Kamakazi Kid, who was making his return following a forced medical retirement to battle Ric Converse, the masked marvel stunned both Converse and manager Cross with a clean pinfall win in the center of the ring. The irate former world champion and his manager made threats and vented before finally leaving the ring area.
++CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Brass Munkey & Marcellus "Mid Atlantic" King was ruled a double count-out after the two began brawling in the first two rows of seats on the floor. The two continued to brawl for almost as long as the official time of the match, requiring both dressing rooms to empty to finally restore peace.
++The Six-Man main event began as a handicap match as only Rob McBride & Lee Valiant entered to battle Destiny's Silvia, Greene & Dillinger. After battling back and forth the first ten minutes, Destiny began to gain an advantage during the next ten, singling out McBride and taking turns stomping his arm in retaliation for his chops. Lee Valiant finally got into the bout legally, turned up the heat but was soon a victim to the well-choreographed double and triple teams of Destiny. Silvia super-kicked McBride to the concrete as Lee Valiant finally made it to his corner finding no one to tag. Silvia drug the injured Lee Valiant into the center of the ring and began screaming at him, asking who was he going to tag. The Memphis-era entrance music for "Handsome" Jimmy roared through the house and the original "Boogie Woogie Man" hit the ring ready for war. The Boogie-Valiant Connection brought the house to their feet with a pinfall win, sending Destiny out of the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium with a loss in the record books.
++CWF-MAX! returns to action on Saturday June 27th @ 7:30pm at Burlington NC's Mid Atlantic Sportatorium. CWF-MAX! is basically a more extreme version of CWF Mid Atlantic, and is also sanctioned by PWI International (visit www.pwipro.com for more information).
