+++Former Commissioner and current Aftermath manager William L. Cross entered the ring following the opening match, explaining that in the absence of Commissioner Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens & Assistant Commissioner Cornelius J. Lumpkin III that he was the senior member present of the Board of Directors, therefore in control of the evening's event. Cross ordered that "Box Office Draw" Mikael Yamaha be added to the main event TV Title bout, making it a three-way rules match with an extended fifteen minute time limit. He also informed referee Redd Jones that he'd given all of the other officials the night off and he would be required to officiate every match of the night. Cross then called out young powerhouse Jaxson Dane, and began to tell of how Dane has approached him about being a part of Aftermath. Cross told him that being Aftermath means you have to be able to handle ANY opponent that walks through the curtain, and the intro video for Otto Schwanz blasted. Cross then tells Dane that if he can win the match, he's in Aftermath.

+++In a surprise return, the Syndicate's Evan Banks & Michael McAllister entered with manager Bobby O'Neill, taking the house mic into the ring. Explaining how it was just weeks away from Banks release to return to the ring, O'Neill laid out his plan to regain the Mid Atlantic Tag Titles. Fatback Enterprises hit the ring en force, with manager Brad Stutts flanked by Edsel, Dollar$ & Richards and basically told the Syndicate to get out of "his" ring. Undaunted by the threats made, CWF's Mid Atlantic Tag Champs the VIPs hit the ring as the former champions made their way toward the entryway. Stutts threw down the gauntlet to get a title shot at the champions, and sweetened the pot by adding the stipulation that should Fatback Enterprises NOT WIN the titles, that he would break up the group, releasing all members from their contracts. During intermission, CWF officials met via conference call and confirmed that Fatback will challenge the VIPs for the titles on Saturday September 5th at "Fatback Rising II". However, the ruling also stated that should the VIPs get DQ'ed or counted out that the titles would then belong to the challengers!
