*** MID-ATLANTIC TAG TITLES VS. FATBACK ENTERPRISES FUTURE!
*** DREAM 8-MAN TAG BOUT!
*** WOMEN'S CHALLENGE MATCH!
CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium in Burlington, NC this Saturday, September 5th, with a 7:30pm belltime.
After weeks of speculation and preparation, "Fatback Rising II" is mere DAYS away. The Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship and the future of one of CWF's most beloved teams hangs in the balance as both challengers and champions put it all on the line for one more heated showdown. GEMINI KID & JESSE ORTEGA, perhaps the most successful tag team in modern Mid-Atlantic history, will defend the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championships this Saturday against Brad Stutts' Fatback Enterprises team of COREY EDSEL & DONNIE DOLLAR$ with the provision that if Fatback fails to win the belts, the entire Fatback unit, which includes manager Stutts and "Jersey" Nick Richards will split up forever. This pivotal, high-stakes grudge match headlines a stacked card of live wrestling bouts presented by CWF Mid-Atlantic this Saturday night, September 5th at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium.
Gemini & Ortega are former World Tag Team Champions who have maintained control of the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championships all summer long after a controversial victory in Oxford, NC. They successfully defended their belts against Fatback on July 18th with an illegal assist from brass knuckles, in what the sneaky Gemini Kid promised would be Fatback's one and only shot. However, manager Brad Stutts and his team have put everything on the line to get one last chance. And make no mistake, this IS the last chance ever for Fatback to become tag team champions. If they do not win the titles, Stutts, Edsel, Dollar$ and Richards will all split up forever, never to be professionally associated with each other in a CWF ring again. A win will validate Fatback's claim that they are the best team in the Mid-Atlantic, a claim they were making long before they first heard the fans cheers. A loss, however, will break up CWF's most popular group. One twist that cannot be forgotten, however, is that if the VIP team is disqualified or counted-out, they will lose the championships to Fatback. It is one fall to a finish and the stakes could not be higher! Be there to see if it will truly be a Fatback rising or the demise of one of CWF's cornerstones.
Additionally, an enormous eight man tag-team match has been signed with white-hot personal rivalries on both sides. Ty Dillinger's Destiny team of JOEY SILVIA & STEVE GREENE will join forces with William L. Cross' Aftermath team of "THE 1ST" RIC CONVERSE & MARCELLUS KING to square off against Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion BRASS MUNKEY; Mid-Atlantic Television Champion LEE VALIANT; 2009 Johnny Weaver Memorial Cup Winner KAMAKAZI KID and CWF's most decorated champion ever, ROB "BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN" McBRIDE! Count the feuds that line both teams of the titantic war. There is Converse vs. Kazi, a rematch of the recent Weaver Cup finals where Kazi came out on top. There's Munkey vs. King, who has been Munkey's most persistent challenger for several months now. There's Silvia & Greene vs. Valiant & McBride, who have been in a bitter war since the spring with each side trying put the other out of the sport. There's even Kazi vs. King, as Marcellus was eliminated from the first round of the Weaver Cup by the freshly returned Kamakazi in a big upset. Not to mention Rob McBride's two reigns as Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion ended in losses to Joey Silvia and Ric Converse respectfully. Converse's title reign after beating McBride came to end at Battlecade IX when he was defeated by Brass Munkey. Not to mention the history that exists between Steve Greene and Lee Valiant, who traded the Television Title in violent wars over the summer of 2007 AND the bad blood between Greene and Munkey, who years ago were one of the Mid-Atlantic's best tag teams before Greene's alignment with Silvia split them up. There has never been a bigger, more hate-filled, eight man tag-team match in CWF history and this one promises to rock the very foundation of the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium!
Last time at the Sportatorium, XSIRIS shocked the fans and his former partner with an out-of-nowhere low blow that floored MIKAEL YAMAHA and answered months of speculation about the former partners' friendship. We have learned that Xsiris has requested interview time to address the fans at Fatback Rising II and expect tensions to become heated as he attempts to justify his actions not only to the fans but also to Yamaha, who IS expected to be in attendance. Security will be on stand by in the event that these two come face to face this Saturday night.
Another potentially wild grudge match will see ALEX ADONIS with Crystal Clear lock up with CECIL SCOTT. Adonis at first seemed to laugh off Scott's creepy advances towards Clear, but once Scott got physical at the last Sportatorium event and actually put his hands on Clear, an enraged Adonis demanded this one-on-one bout be sanctioned immediately. On paper the more powerful and more experienced Adonis is a clear favorite, but if Scott has a chance to survive, it's his willingness to do anything to create an opportunity for himself. If his stalker-like behavior towards Crystal Clear can distract Adonis, we could see a major upset this Saturday.
Ladies action returns to the Sportatorium as AMBER O'NEAL faces SASSIE STEPHIE. These two battled it out last month in Ohio where Stephie actually attacked Amber in the dressing room after losing the match! Now Stephie is coming to North Carolina to exact her revenge against the ever-popular Amber O'Neal! This could be one wild women's matchup!!!
PLUS The Sindicate of MICHAEL McALLISTER & EVAN BANKS; "Handsome" MITCH CONNOR; Fatback's "Jersey" NICK RICHARDS; Rising Generation League Champion MATT SMITH; ARIK ROYAL; CHASE DAKOTA; CHIVA KID; TREVOR LEE of ShowTyme; RAY KANDRACK; the CWF return of the "Michigan Assassin" BOBBY WOHLFERT and more!
CWF Mid-Atlantic cordially invites you to join us at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium, located at 1813 Frank Holt Dr. in Burlington, NC for this monumental night where you can guaranteed to see the crowning of new champions... or the demise of one of CWF's longest running teams. Witness the excitement unfold or regret it!
Don't you dare miss it!!!
