*** WWE SUPERSTAR BRIAN KENDRICK IN ACTION!!
This Saturday night we invite you to join us at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium for a first time ever event presented by Pro Wrestling International, the governing body of CWF Mid-Atlantic, RCW and Premier Wrestling Showcase. For the first time ever, PWI has sanctioned championship bouts from all three Mid-Atlantic affiliates on one gigantic card. It's A Night of Mid-Atlantic Champions! Headlining this humongous card is a first time ever meeting as Mid-Atlantic Television Champion and PWS Champion JOEY SILVIA faces former WWE Superstar BRIAN KENDRICK!
BRIAN KENDRICK was trained professionally by Shawn Michaels in the late 1990's at the Shawn Michaels Texas Wrestling Academy. Shortly after turning pro, Kendrick moved to Memphis, TN where he gained valuable experience competing on the legendary Memphis wrestling circuit. He went on to make a big splash as "Spanky" in Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Zero-One in Japan and dozens of other top-rated wrestling federations all over the country. He eventually found his way to WWE where he became 2-time Tag-Team Champion with Paul London. He later went on to singles fame where he competed for (and briefly won) the WWE Championship at Unforgiven 2008. Now that he is back on the independent circuit, Kendrick has already made a big splash at Dragon Gate USA and comes to PWS hoping to prove that he is still among the elite talents in the world.
JOEY SILVIA was trained professionally by former WCW star and longtime journeyman The Stro in the late 1990's in his hometown of Jacksonville, NC. While Stro was never a World Champion like Michaels, Silvia's early experiences in the sport were very similar to Kendrick's, as training under Stro was tough, brutal and the veteran stressed respect for the sport, just like Michaels. Silvia first began making a splash on the Carolinas as "Spank" in the early 2000's. Eventually deciding to drop the alter ego and go by his own name (just like Kendrick), Silvia found his greatest career success capturing the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship in 2006. Silvia held on to that belt for a full year before going to capture the PWS Heavyweight belt in February 2009. He recently added the Mid-Atlantic Television Championship to his impressive resume at the 9th annual CWF Rumble.
The similarities between these two incredibly exciting competitors are evident. Both have had to adapt a high-risk ring style to overcome their size disadvantages against opponents and both have adapted exciting, fast-paced maneuvers to win over crowds and get noticed by promoters. Both have found tag-team success, Kendrick with partner Paul London and Silvia with Destiny. Both branched out to find singles success and both have held major championships recognized all over the US. Both are now on a collision course that will see one of the most exciting matches EVER to hit the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium this Saturday night November 14th at Night of the Champions. JOEY SILVIA defends both the PWS Heavyweight Championship and the Mid-Atlantic Television Championship against BRIAN KENDRICK! Get your tickets now for this breath taking main event that has never happened before and may never happen again!
But that's not the only major championship at stake. PWS Tag-Team Champions RIC CONVERSE & MARCELLUS KING representing the AFTERMATH will square off against Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions COREY EDSEL & DONNIE DOLLAR$ of FATBACK with BOTH sets of belts on the line! The storied rivalry between Converse and Edsel will be revisited in this huge tag match, and we can't forget about the presence of Fatback leader Brad Stutts and Aftermath mastermind William Cross in their respective corners.
BRASS MUNKEY defends the RCW Championship against the crafty GEMINI KID, who will no doubt have manager TY DILLINGER in his corner. This is the first time ever that championships from CWF Mid-Atlantic, PWS and RCW are all being defended on the same card and all eyes will be looking at Munkey, whose reputation has come into question recently. A successful title defense here would solidify him as unquestionably the top heavyweight in the Carolinas, as Munkey also presently reigns as Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion. The veteran Gemini has a bag full of tricks as extensive as anyone else on the roster and will prove a formidable challenge for Munkey, and after defeating his long-time partner Jesse Ortega, Gemini secured this heavyweight title bout.
Ultra J Champion XSIRIS will defend his belt against long-time rival KAMAKAZI KID. These two broke into the sport together years ago and have been constantly at odds ever since. They put their differences aside to capture the Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Championship a year and a half ago, but Kazi's serious back injury forced them to vacate the titles and eventually split the team. Now they are at odds again and their war will be revisited in what could very well be the show stealing match of the night!
Bonus matches to be announced, plus the person behind the mysterious "It Returns" vignettes has vowed to reveal themselves at Night of the Champions! This is a can't miss event with a loaded line-up that will never be duplicated. Reserve seats now and join us this Saturday night at the Mid-Atlantic Sporatorium!
All this and more!!! VIP ticket holders will get to meet Brian Kendrick for a photo op along with their front row seat!
Don't you dare miss it!!!
