++Trevor Lee wrestled a clean scientific bout against the CWF Training Dojo's most recent graduate Jason Miller, keeping the match at his pace and taking the larger opponent to the canvas. Lee took a pinfall win over the already-impressive rookie to a roar of the crowd.

++PWI International Ultra-J Crown Champion Xsiris and manager William L. Cross escaped with a hard-fought win over the red-hot "Leelicious" Lee Valiant, who started out their bout like a house of fire. Xsiris took a beating early on to advance to the Weaver Cup Final by pinfall over the game Valiant.
++CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion "High Definition" Steve Greene w/Coach Gemini found himself across the ring from former friend "the 1st" Ric Converse for the last spot in the Weaver Cup Final. Converse put the brakes on any intentions that Coach Gemini had for his "team" by putting the heavyweight champ's shoulders to the canvas in under a minute and a half.
++Rising Generation League Champion Chase Dakota was up next scheduled to face Matt Smith, who he injured the previous night at CWF Projekt X. The official called for the bell and made the ten count, awarding the match to the champion, but was interrupted by the announcement that Commissioner Connor demanded a title match and "One Man Boy Band" Roo-D Lewis was introduced as his challenger. Dakota showed a little more of his newly emerging mean streak, attacking the legs of Lewis and eventually forcing a submission out of the "One Man Boy Band".
++Coach Gemini presenting his hand-chosen team for tag team action, pulling out the team of "Infamous Icon" Joey Silvia & "Assassin" Ray Kandrack to face newcomers Jason Blade & Adam Page. The game newcomers took the fight to Coach's team, stretching out both opponents on the canvas, with Blade and Page both displaying their top-rope skills. The three-on-two advantage of the Coach's team was able to pull off a pinfall win over the impressive team of Blade & Page.
++Trevor Lee returned to the ring area with a gift bag, explaining to Coach Gemini & Silvia that he'd bought them some new things, and presented the Coach with a brand new whistle. Presenting Silvia with two framed photos of himself, Lee also showed Silvia something else in the bag which he did not share with the fans or ringsiders. After Kandrack made his way to the dressing room area at the direction of the Coach, Lee got behind Silvia with the framed photo, nearly swinging it at him before dropping it on the canvas and then dropping Silvia back-first onto the glass-covered photos. Silvia was taken from the arena by Coach Gemini's team with lacerations to his back.
++Fatback Enterprises' Donnie Dollar$ & "Young Gun" Nick Richards with manager Brad Stutts were out next to defend their CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Titles against former champions the Aftermath, Marcellus "Mid Atlantic" King & Jaxon Dane with manager William L. Cross. Richards started off quickly, against big King, refusing to take a step backwards from his opponent and taking the match to the canvas. Dollar$ took his turns in the ring displaying his power and agility against King and muscleman Dane. Stutts and Cross exchanged words and made advances on each other during the bout, but never made actual contact. The tag champions continued their reign with a "Young Gun" pinfall win to secure the titles.
++Xsiris & "the 1st" Ric Converse hit the ring like a hurricane, going straight to each other's faces from the opening bell. The PWI International Ultra-J Crown Champion showed off his conditioning by taking and giving an incredible amount of punishment, only to be matched move for move by the former five-time Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion. Xsiris spent much of the match avoiding any move that could be a set-up for the Ric-Tor Scale finisher, but eventually tasted the canvas with it as Converse made the pinfall win to become the seventh winner of the 7th Annual Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament!
++CWF Mid Atlantic returns to live action on Saturday Sept. 4th at 7:30pm at Burlington NC's Mid Atlantic Sportatorium! Tickets, reservations & info at www.cwf247.com!
