++"New Era" Jimmy Parker reported for duty for singles action against powerhouse Otto Schwanz and stayed with the veteran for the entire bout, which resulted in a time limit draw. Both men were still struggling for an upper hand as the time limit expired.
++Results courtesy of the rudos at IndyInsiders.Com. Please pass along this information should you choose to re-post these results elsewhere, por favor!
++"Infamous Icon" Joey Silvia was out next, calling out Trevor Lee for a singles grudge bout, which resulted in the young Icon making his way to the ring. "Assassin" Ray Kandrack followed Lee out and attacked him before he could get into the squared circle. Silvia joined in on a little two-on-one action before Lee's partner for the match, Kamakazi Kid, joined the brawl and made it a legal tag team match. The young Icon and the former Weaver Cup Champion held their own and walked out with their hands raised after a pinfall win after nearly fifteen minutes of war.
++The Aftermath's Marcellus "Mid Atlantic" King w/William L. Cross was out next to challenge CWF Mid Atlantic Television Champion Arik Royal for his title. The two big men collided and neither would budge an inch from the other's attacks. Royal kicked his game into high gear, turning up his intent to finish the night's business and head into the Rumble on a roll to possibly become the first ever two-time winner, defeating his challenger by pinfall with seconds left on the ten minute television time limit.
++"Michigan Assassin" Bobby Wohlfert & RGL Champion Chase Dakota were out next to challenge Fatback Enterprises for the CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Titles. Donnie Dollar$ & "Young Gun" Nick Richards w/Brad Stutts answered the bell and mayhem ensued. They brawled, they fought and they did everything they could think of to each other for an advantage before Fatback Enterprises put the brakes on the madness with a pinfall win for yet another successful title defense.
++CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion "the 1st" Ric Converse w/William L. Cross was out next to defend his title against the masked PWI International Ultra-J Crown Champion Chiva Kid. Knowing about his challenger's seperated shoulder, Converse attacked that point of the Mexican star's anatomy, getting impressive results judging from the painful yelps heard from behind the goat mask. Even with a run-in by former Ultra-J Crown Champion Xsiris, the masked star kept his "game face" on and began to show off some of his own brand of high flying, sending Converse scurrying to the concrete floor. Taking himself out of the match, Converse exited the arena with Cross as the referee made the ten-count to give Chiva Kid the victory. Converse retained his title by rule, as it can not change hands on a count out.
++The 10th Annual CWF RUMBLE kicked off with #1 Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride and #2 Kamakazi Kid as the first two entrants! The two took advantage of the third entrant, Chase Dakota, who maintained a long presence in the marathon match. The ring never filled with more than six or seven competitors this year, as eliminations became almost as quick as entrances, making the 10th CWF RUMBLE one of the most unpredictable events in its history. Referee Joseph A. Blackwail made his ring debut, forcing Coach Gemini to quickly eliminate himself rather than face the man he tried to humiliate by challenging him to enter the RUMBLE. Jesse "El Fuego" Ortega, "One Man Boy Band" Roo-D Lewis, Matthew de Nero & Michael McAllister turned into a Teenage Dance Party until Ortega put a stop to the non-wrestling activities with his own brand of violence. The "Infamous Icons" Trevor Lee & Joey Silvia crossed paths, with Lee eliminating Silvia for his second "win" over him in the evening. Lee Valiant made himself as unnoticable as possible in the closing minutes of the RUMBLE, after being pounded and left in a corner, and survived until the final two men. As Donnie Dollar$, Marcellus King, rookie Jason Miller were eliminated, Ric Converse ran in from the dressing room area and attacked Lee Valiant, not once, but twice, setting his partner-in-crime Xsiris up for his very first CWF RUMBLE win, and the guaranteed title shot granted to the winner each year.
