This Saturday February 19th, 2011, CWF Mid-Atlantic presents a very special main event as part of a very special night. We invite you to join us at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium as we make Mid-Atlantic history at "End of an Era Part II."
For the first time ever, two CWF Mid-Atlantic wrestlers will step into the ring for a grueling and intense Sixty Minute Iron Man Match. Self-proclaimed Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion RIC CONVERSE will battle the rightful Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion LEE VALIANT and the man who wins the most falls in sixty minutes will be the undisputed champion.
Converse claims he never rightfully lost to Valiant at Battlecade Eleven because Tommy Young, who counted Converse's shoulders down for the three count, was a substitute after the official originally assigned to the bout became incapacitated due to injury. Since that match, Converse has carried an outdated version of the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship belt used from 2004-2007 to the ring with him while claiming to still be the champion.
CWF Mid-Atlantic and Commissioner Mitch Connor upheld the three count by referee Tommy Young and continue to recognize Lee Valiant as the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion but both Valiant and Converse have agreed to settle any and all disputes with one brutal, physical bout. THIS Saturday, February 19th, Ric Converse vs. Lee Valiant in the first ever CWF-sanctioned Sixty Minute Iron Man Match!
The bout will be timed and it WILL go sixty minutes. Whoever scores the most pinfalls, submissions, count-outs and disqualifications in that sixty minutes will be the recognized, rightful and UNDISPUTED Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion. It promises to be one of the most intense matches in Mid-Atlantic history. Coach Gemini has predicted it will be not just match of the year but possibly match of the decade. You will not want to miss this epic main event!

One added stipulation to the bout is that while the winner will be Mid-Atlantic Champion, the loser will receive NO further re-matches at the championship held by the winner. That necessitates the need to decide a new number one contender. An over-the-top battle royal has been sanctioned for Saturday night's card and the last man left standing in the ring will be the new number one contender and be guaranteed a future shot at the title! Competitors are lining up to enter including Coach Gemini's All-Stars of ROY WILKINS, WALTER EATON and MICHAEL McALLISTER, Fatback's NICK RICHARDS and MATTY DE NERO, former Ultra J Champion CHIVA KID, high flying TREVOR LEE, "The One Man Boy Band" ROO D. LEWIS, current RGL Champion JASON MILLER, current PWI Trios Champions CHASE DAKOTA, CECIL SCOTT and MECHA MERCENARY, current PWI Ultra J Champion XSIRIS, the new tag-team of ARIC ANDREWS and JIMMY PARKER and many more! Its traditional over the top battle royal rules and the last man standing will be the NEW number one contender to the most prestigious championship in the Mid-Atlantic!
Two more huge championship matches have been signed for Saturday night's card as Television Champion "The Assassin" RAY KANDRACK faces former champion ARIK ROYAL in a rematch after their hard-hitting time limit draw last month. These two might be the most physical wrestlers in the territory at this point and are sure to pull no punches with the championship on the line!
Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions ADAM PAGE and JASON BLADE, THE VA BOMBERS defend against JAY SINN and LANCE LUDE, THE SET. After a non-title bout last month, The Set disrespected the champions who are looking to redeem themselves with the belts on the line!
Plus a huge grudge match as "The One and Only" JUSTIN DUKE w/ Kristin Flake battles Fatback's MATTY DE NERO! These two have been at war for months but an injury forced De Nero to miss their scheduled match at Battlecade Eleven. With De Nero at full strength, their longtime grudge that according to Duke dates back to childhood and is the reason why Duke can't function normally in society, may finally be settled at the appropriately titled "End of an Era" supercard!
PLUS Commissioner Mitch Connor hopes to be able to address the status of former Fatback manager Brad Stutts, who was forced to leave CWF Mid-Atlantic two weeks ago. Many are calling it the biggest ripoff ever in a CWF ring. Commissioner Connor himself has even said on record it was the worst disgrace he's ever seen. With the assistance of The Aftermath, an illegal wrestler substitution and a crooked referee, Coach Gemini pinned the shoulders of Brad Stutts to the mat in the Loser Must Retire Match, forcing Stutts out of CWF Mid-Atlantic. But many in CWF have vowed they are not going to stand for it. We want to hear from YOU, the ticket buying public, as to what you think should be done about the future of Brad Stutts and the future of the conspirators who cost him his career.
We invite you to e-mail cwfmidatlantic@yahoo.com today and let your voice be heard!
This is one NOT to be missed, reserve your seats TODAY at CWF247.COM to join us THIS Saturday night for "End of an Era Part II" - it will be a historic night of great live pro wrestling!
PLEASE NOTE
Due to circumstances beyond CWF Mid-Atlantic's control, the scheduled match of Steve Greene vs. Joey Silvia that was to be held on February 19th has been canceled. We hope to update everyone on Steve's final match and when it will be held after he reviews his options and open contracts that have been offered to him. We wanted to give as much notice as possible to all the fans and we guarantee that you will still enjoy "End of an Era Part II" on February 19th.
