THE RETURN OF THE BUNKHOUSE STAMPEDE!
One of the wildest matches CWF produces is the come-as-you-are anything goes Bunkhouse Stampede! All weapons are legal and a one thousand dollar cash prize goes to the last man standing. Fatback's DONNIE DOLLAR$, journeyman MARK JAMES, the All Stars TY DILLINGER, the intense JOE BLACK, 370 pound MECHA MERCENARY, "Creepy" CECIL SCOTT and former two-time winner ROB "BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN" McBRIDE are among the heavy hitters entered in this free for all! It's going to be outrageous action in this crazy main event as many of CWF's top competitors do anything and everything to win the prize money!
For the Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Championship:
ADAM PAGE and JASON BLADE VS.
CEDERICK ALEXANDER and CALEB KONLEY
It's been a tough month for the Bombers, as they had to fight through three other teams at Absolute Justice to retain their championship and both tasted defeat in singles bouts last week in Statesville. It won't get any easier when they defend their belts against the well-travelled tandem of Alexander and the Ultra J Champion. The challengers earned their title shot by winning a one-day contender's tournament last month in Oxford and these four amazing athletes are sure to put on a match to be remembered with the Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Championship on the line!
Weaver Cup 1st Round Match:
MIKAEL YAMAHA VS. ROY WILKINS
"The Box Office Draw" has come back to CWF and says his sights are set on the one championship he has never held: the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship! To earn a title shot, he will have to rise up through the ranks and one of the ways to do it is to earn the guaranteed title shot that comes with winning the annual Weaver Cup tournament. But to get past the first round Yamaha will have to defeat the All Stars Roy Wilkins, who is mentored by Yamaha's long time rival Coach Gemini. Wilkins was bullied by Yamaha when he was first starting out as a rookie but it could be a totally different story now that Wilkins has been wrestling a full schedule for years and Yamaha is starting all over again after a sixteen month layoff.
Weaver Cup 1st Round Match:
NICK RICHARDS VS. MICHAEL McALLISTER
McAllister is one of CWF's longest tenured active wrestlers but still searching for his defining career victory. He says the 2011 Weaver Cup will be that victory. Meanwhile Fatback's "Young Gun" is itching to break through as a major star and this tournament could be the vehicle. This should be a spirited match up as both are extremely motivated to move on to round two and carve out their legacy in CWF Mid-Atlantic!
Weaver Cup 1st Round Match:
CHASE DAKOTA VS. ARIK ROYAL
The popular Arik Royal feels he has something to prove after several embarrassing recent losses, including some to Dakota himself. Royal is cutting weight and getting into the best shape of his life but he's got to put Dakota behind him if he wants to advance in the tournament. Arik says this tournament will be his redemption but Chase has proven he can squeak out a win against the powerhouse. Or has his luck finally run out?!
Weaver Cup 1st Round Match:
ARIC ANDREWS VS. JASON MILLER
"Arrogant" Aric came to CWF in February to prove himself against the best competition in the area. He says he has bided his time waiting for an opportunity and that the Weaver Cup will provide him with the platform to make himself a star. To get there he will have to get past the Rising Generation League Champion who many say is destined for stardom. Two hungry young lions will go to war to see who advances in this prestigious tournament!
We want to put on a loaded super card to thank our loyal fans who support us every month and especially those who choose to spend fourth of July weekend with us! Don't miss the 2011 Fan Appreciation Summer Party! It's going to be a wild and fun night for ALL our fans!
