After an amazing night in Greensboro, CWF returns to Burlington's Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium THIS Saturday night with a full night of action packed excitement featuring the athletic, young stars of CWF scratching and clawing their way to the top! Some careers could take a big step forward on Saturday and some could take a big step backward! Don't miss it all unfold!
Our beautiful live event hostess Chasity Taylor talks to some of the participants in Saturday's key match-ups at this link:
2 out of 3 Falls Tag-Team Main Event
Winners will be tag-team # 1 contenders
TREVOR LEE and BEN TYLER VS.
CALEB KONLEY and CEDRIC ALEXANDER
We have received word that Caprice Coleman is currently sidelined with a shoulder injury and wish Caprice a very speedy recovery. That injury has created an opening for Charlotte's favorite sons 7-OH!-4 who will headline Saturday's card in what should be a spectacular tag-team contest. The Ultra J Champion CALEB KONLEY will join Cedric in this huge bout that promises to be an amazing athletic contest. Two of the most talented tag-teams to be found anywhere will go at it and we are proud to present this as our main event. It will be two out of three falls which means the first team to win two falls will face the champs in March!
The brand new Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions ARIK ROYAL and CHIVA KID will be in the house to address the crowd after their emotional and incredible victory in Greensboro!
All Star Eight Man Showdown
WALTER EATON, ROY WILKINS, MICHAEL McALLISTER and RAY KANDRACK w/ Coach Gemini
VS. MARK JAMES, JASON MILLER, BOBBY WOHLFERT and ROB "Boogie Woogie Man" McBRIDE
On the other hand, this match features eight of the roughest and toughest brawlers in the Mid-Atlantic. It won't be a pretty athletic spectacle, what it will be is a dirty, gritty knock down drag out brawl as these two teams of bruisers throw down. This one has all the potential to be one of the most physically brutal matches of the year!
After an embarrassing loss on his home turf in Greensboro, "The First" RIC CONVERSE is fuming angry and promises that someone will pay for his humiliation.
Mid-Atlantic Champion ADAM PAGE will be in attendance although at this time his status is questionable for competing in a match. We hope to have updates throughout the week and IF a match featuring Page is signed, we'll announce it on the official CWF facebook (http://www.facebook.com/cwfmidatlantic), twitter account (http://www.twitter.com/cwfmidatlantic) and website (http://www.cwf247/com)
RGL Championship Match
COURT MONTGOMERY VS. JOE BLACK (C)
Montgomery has been directly responsible for two recent non-title losses and the champion has sworn that payback is coming this Saturday. Could the "Prince of Heat" weasel his way into his first championship or will the "Black Cloud" rain violence and retain?
CHASE DAKOTA VS. NICK RICHARDS
Dakota surprised many in the Mid-Atlantic with a huge win over Richards at New Year's Knockout and now Fatback's "Young Gun" looks to even the score!
Three-Way Tag-Team Chaos!
THE KILLBILLIES VS. LAS CHIVAS VS. ROBYN GOLPHIN & TERRELL GIVENS
The Virginia born and bred duo of Aric Andrews and Evan Banks have looked impressive in recent wins. Golphin & Givens are looking for their first major victory. Las Chivas are the most unpredictable team in wrestling and ANYTHING could happen when they are in the mix. This one will be wild!
Plus DONNIE DOLLARS defends the Mid-Atlantic Television Championship, "Surly" CECIL SCOTT with the monstrous MECHA MERCENARY and many more! Don't miss this big night of CWF action live from Burlington's Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium!
:::::::::: THANK YOU GREENSBORO FOR A WONDERFUL NIGHT! ::::::::::
A huge thank you to everyone who packed the house at the Glenwood Rec. Center for our big Greensboro return this past Saturday night! Special thanks to Chez Morris and the Greensboro Eagles Youth Sports Organization for all their help in putting the event on. We can't wait to come back to the Gate City and Glenwood Rec. Center this spring!
Results from "Casualties of War" saw:
RGL Champion JOE BLACK and TV Champion DONNIE DOLLARS defeated CHASE DAKOTA and the returning CECIL SCOTT... SOLOMON SPADES stole one from MIKAEL YAMAHA... ARIK ROYAL and CHIVA KID defeated WALTER EATON and ROY WILKINS to capture the Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Championship... ROB BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN McBRIDE defeated MECHA MERCENARY in the Gate City Street Fight... "HIGH DEFINITION" STEVE GREENE, JASON MILLER, NICK RICHARDS and DONNIE DOLLARS defeated The Aftermath's TREVOR LEE, BEN TYLER, XSIRIS and RIC CONVERSE when Miller pinned Converse after Converse became distracted arguing with the referee.
