++Veteran All Star Jesse "El Fuego" Ortega was out first for CWF End of an Era 2013 to face off against Matt Smith in the Corey Edsel Toughman Tourney. With Coach Gemini in his corner, Ortega began his usual brutality aiming at a submission win, but was unable to keep the hot young Smith down for the three count. Smith, rather, returned the favor, giving Ortega a dose of his own finisher, forcing the veteran to tap out.
++Results courtesy of IndyInsiders.Com. Yep. Them guys. Pass it on if you post these results in another forum, if you please!
++CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Arik Royal was out next with the house mic, introducing his tag partner Chiva Kid. The two accepted the roar of the fans and got down to business. Royal offered to put his title up against his partner at March 30's Madness In Any Direction, which may be offered on iPPV.
++CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions All Stars Goon Squad's Roy Wilkins & Walter Eaton w/Coach Gemini were out next to defend their titles against the hot team of Donnie Dollar$ & Mark James. A fast-paced hard hitting bout ensued with the tide turning over and over in each team's favor. However, with the usual advantage in numbers, the All Stars were able to defeat the challengers by pinfall to continue their reign of terror in the Mid Atlantic.
++The Aftermath's RGL Champion Ben Tyler was out next accompanied by Chet Sterling to take on Kamakazi Kid in singles action. Two guys that apparently have no love lost for each other locked horns in a battle of wills with Sterling attempting to interject himself into the match on behalf of Tyler. Kazi kept moving forward, but eventually got tripped up and double-teamed behind the official's back, allowing Tyler to steal a pinfall win over the former Mid Atlantic Champion.
++Corey Edsel Toughman Tourney action continued with the advertised Mecha Mercenary v. "Assassin" Ray Kandrack bout, and the two continued from their last meeting, brutally beating each other from pillar to post. They fought in the ring and on the floor at ringside, in and out of the ring on more than one occasion. Both men found themselves on the floor and the referee's count up to 8 before Kandrack rolled into the ring to win the battle via countout after the masked monster was unable to make the ten count. CWF Security was called to the ring as the two combatants refused to break it up following their match, including Big Aaron, who had stopped a Mecha Mercenary attack weeks ago. Big Aaron accepted the guantlet thrown down by Mecha's partner Cecil Scott, agreeing to appear on March 30th one-on-one against the masked monster at CWF Madness In Any Direction.
++Six man tag team action was up next as the Black Watch's Solomon Spades, Joe Black & Chase Dakota stepped through the ropes to take on Matthew de Nero & the Killbillies' "Honky Kong" Evan Banks & "South Paw" Aric Andrews w/Bobby Joe Neil. An entertaining battle between definite fan favorites and the hated Black Watch heated up the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium as the packed house roared at every move. The Killbillies & de Nero pulled off the pinfall win, and the former tag champions made their way out of the arena, leaving de Nero at the mercy of a three-on-one Black Watch attack. Donnie Dollar$ & Brad Stutts made their way to the ring, armed with a steel chair and cleared the attackers off of their partner. Stutts then told Spades that if you messed with one of Fatback Enterprises that you mess with the ENTIRE Fatback Enterprises...
++Three-way one fall tag team action was up next as the team of Chet Sterling & Michael "the Fury" McAllister hit the ring followed by the team of LeBron Kozone & Chris "Sho Smoove" Lea and the Mid Atlantic Outlaws Matt Houston & Louis Moore. An entertaining exhibition of tag styles ensued with the veteran Outlaws winning the bout by pinfall by basically sticking to the classic tag team formula that has worked so well in the Mid Atlantic over the decades.
++The Aftermath's "the 1st" Ric Converse & Xsiris w/William L. Cross were out next for main event tag team action against A Black Guy & A Little Goat's CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Arik Royal & PWI International Ultra-J Crown Champion Chiva Kid. The familiar foes went tooth and nail from bell to bell for nearly fifteen minutes when Ben Tyler, Chet Sterling & injured Trevor Lee made their way to the ring area. Tyler stepped through the ropes with a steel chair, attacking Royal as the referee was attempting to clear Sterling from the ring apron. Chiva Kid pulled off an incredible pinfall win and he and his partner exited as the Aftermath had an impromptu team meeting in the middle of the ring. That resulted in Xsiris attacking Ric Converse and the two brawling past the announce position toward the locker room area and Tyler, Sterling & Lee attacking William L. Cross. With no one responding to help the former CWF Commissioner-turned-manager, Tyler stepped through the ropes and grabbed a steel chair to finish off the already downed manager. CWF Stage manager Pops Wenkel grabbed the chair from Tyler, who responded by attempting to strike him with the chair! Then everything turned upside down when the Chiva Kid rushed through the curtains to clear the ring and assist Pops Wenkel in removing the injured William Cross from the ring as fans were asked to exit the building.
