++Six-man Scramble action for a shot at the Mid Atlantic TV Title kicked off CWF CAN'T HARDLY WAIT with two men starting and another joining the fight every 60 seconds. Charlie Weston & the Killbillies' "Honky Kong" Evan Banks w/"Barefoot" Bobby Joe Neil & "South Paw" Aric Andrews kicked off the night with the Black Watch's Chase Dakota hitting the ring, shoving one Weston to the floor and eliminating Banks via pinfall. When Weston returned to the ring, the waiting Dakota took him to the canvas to eliminate him via pinfall! Rookie Aaron Biggs was out next, followed by veteran Chip Day and finally Donnie Dollar$. Day pinned Biggs for the third elimination and Dollar$ eliminated Dakota by tossing him over the top ropes to the floor. Day unleashed a flurry of kicks to the head and face of Dollar$ and advanced to the TV Title match with a convincing pinfall.

++CWF's Rising Generation League Champion Chris "Sho Smoove" Lea was out next to face off against the powerful Smith Garrett with his title on the line. Garrett displayed his know-how inside of the squared circle, but the constant momentum of Lea kept the champion on the attack for much of the bout. Lea flew from the top ropes 3/4 of the way across the ring from the corner when he dropped in on Smith with his Airwaves finisher, capping off his night with a pin to retain his title.
++Brandon Day stepped through the ropes to take on a VERY familiar foe, one of his regular tag team partners Aden Chambers. The two men tried to leave an impression on the hot crowd at the Sportatorium and succeeded in spades with a violent and hard-hitting affair which Day survived via pinfall.
++Tag team action hit the ring next as the mysterious masked Numbers Man returned to tag with the masked Mecha Mercenary to take on the #1 Contenders for the CWF Tag Team Titles, the Mid Atlantic Outlaws' Louis Moore & Matt Houston. The Outlaws made quick work of the dysfunctional masked team, securing the pinfall win in just over two minutes and then witnessed their opponents dissolve their partnership with a Mecha Mercenary attack. The Outlaws called out the tag champions Dynasty, demanding they defend their belts at the Weaver Cup Finals on August 17th.
++Lee Valiant was out next to square off against "South Paw" Aric Andrews in first-round 2013 Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament action. The two friends and occasional tag partners went to war at the bell, going all out in hopes of seeing their name engraved on the Weaver Cup Trophy. Despite his partner and manager on the floor at ringside cheering him on, the "South Paw" found himself on the wrong end of the pinfall finish of the match as Valiant vaulted himself into the Weaver Cup Final Four.
++The Aftermath's Trevor Lee w/Chet Sterling was out next to face off against high-flyer Lance Lude. Lude withstood the double-team assault, taking deserved breathers on the floor at ringside, but couldn't get ahead in the bout far enough to end it favorably. Sterling climbed up onto the ring apron only to find Lude reversing his partner right into him, sending him flying to the concrete, allowing Lude to roll up and pin the hot Lee for the win. Lee and Sterling then had a few loud words before exiting the arena, with Lee telling Sterling he would be on his own in his Weaver Cup match against Heavyweight Champ Arik Royal later in the evening.
++Security and ring officials created a gauntlet and led Zane Dawson into the arena from the back door and he climbed through the ropes to await the entrance of his opponent, PWI International Ultra-J Crown Champion Andrew Everett. Violence, dangerous collisions and a back-alley beatdown commenced with both men getting back to the basics and just pounding on each other. Dawson connected half-way through the bout on the shoulder of Everett, forcing him to speed up the fight and play the match more defensively than the norm. Dawson, while not impressed, laid the proverbial smack-down on the slowed high-flyer and defeated him via pinfall in the non-title battle.
++CWF Mid Atlantic Television Champion Matthew de Nero was out after intermission to take on the challenge of the dangerous veteran Chip Day in a customary 10 minute television time limit bout with the title on the line. Day once again displayed his ability to damage his opponent with a variety of attacks and some deadly educated feet while de Nero kept himself in the match by pulling himself off of the canvas again and again. Day had the belt literally within his grasp as the popular TV Champion reversed his fortunes to finish off the stern challenge by pinfall.
++The Aftermath's Chet Sterling made his way to the ring and awaited the introduction of the 2011 and 2012 Weaver Cup Champion, CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Arik Royal. With the fourth and final spot in the 2013 Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament FINAL FOUR up for grabs, a fight broke out! Royal found himself in reverse after a few minutes and got straight to the point with the cocky young Sterling. With victory almost in his grasp to continue his run for an unprecedented "Three-Peat" for the Weaver Cup, it was snatched from his hands by the appearance of "Lost Cause" Nick Richards, who got the referee's attention while Jason Miller attacked Royal on the floor behind the referee's back with a steel chair. Unable to answer the referee's ten-count, Royal was counted out, making Sterling the last piece of the 2013 Weaver Cup puzzle.
++Jason Miller & Nick Richards, still in the ring area after their Pearl Harbor attack on Royal found themselves scheduled to take on the CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions Dynasty's Xsiris & "the 1st" Ric Converse in the main event of the night. They stepped back through the ropes and tried to injure both Dynasty members rather than defeat them. With the Mid Atlantic titles almost within their grasp, Miller & Richards found themselves being double-pinned by the veteran tag champions who move on to their August 17th date with the Mid Atlantic Outlaws.
++CWF Mid Atlantic returns to live action on Saturday August 17th at Gibsonville NC's Mid Atlantic Sportatorium for the FINALS of the 2013 Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament! Reserve your seats NOW and get more details at www.cwf247.com!
