++CWF Mid Atlantic's Tag Team champions started off CWF NEW YEARS KNOCKOUT 2014 with an unusual double entrance, with both Kamakazi Kid and Lee Valiant entering to their own theme music. Kazi was slapping hands when Valiant run in, threw his title belt into the ring and started verbally abusing his partner. The two champions tangled, and the referee was forced to start the opening tag title bout after Rage & the Machine's Michael McAllister attached both men. Valiant found himself on top of his partner a second time and in under two minutes the tag titles switched hands to the red-hot Rage & the Machine.

++Donnie Dollar$ was out next with a steel chain with dog collars attached to each end, calling out "Lost Cause" Nick Richards to step across the ring from him one more time in a Dog Collar Match on Saturday January 25th!
++Brad Stutts entered the ring with the house mic to introduce and interview former Chikara standout Jakob Hammermeier, who was on hand to announce he is interested in a CWF roster spot. "Lost Cause" Nick Richards and Jason Miller chose that moment to make an entrance, interrupting the Chikara regular's interview. When the two attacked Hammermeier, Aaron Biggs hit the ring to make the save and then challenged the Lost Boys to a match. The bout was made on the spot and a referee made his way to the ring for a violent and entertaining bout. With the clock winding down on the fifteen minute time limit, Richards & Miller pulled off a pinfall win.
++CWF Mid Atlantic Television Champion Chase Dakota was up next, along with his box of names of potential challengers for his title. Drawing a name and handing it to the referee, moments later the surprising name of Gemini Kid was called out to challenge for the TV title. Gemini didn't come alone, instead arriving with the Goon Squad's Roy Wilkins. The Coach then challenged Dakota to make it a two fall elimination title match, which he only agreed to after consulting Dynasty's "the 1st" Ric Converse, who stuck around to do commentary on the match. Dakota finished off the Coach in seventeen seconds, pinning him and shoving him out of the ring before turning to Wilkins. It took Dakota less that five minutes after pinning the Coach to do the same to Wilkins, leaving the arena once again with the TV title firmly in hand.
++Brad Stutts again hit the ring with the house mic, calling out Mark James. James, in a video earlier last year, had stated that if he didn't win a title in CWF Mid Atlantic before the end of 2013 that he'd leave the company. Stutts tried to talk him out of it but James stated he was a man of his word and was taking off from CWF. Stutts suggested strongly that his "door was always open" if James ever wishes to return to the roster.
++Smith & Weston's Smith Garrett & Charlie Weston were out next to take on the Killbillies' "Honky Kong" Evan Banks & "South Paw" Aric Andrews w/"Barefoot" Bobby Joe Neil. These two familiar teams went to war. Familiarity breeds contempt and it was glaringly visible from bell to bell in this contest. Smith & Weston pulled off a pinfall win, leaving Andrews announcing to his partner and manager that if the Killbillies didn't win the tag titles back by the end of February that he would quit the team.
++Following intermission and the viewing of the 2013 Images of the Year video (*****5 stars) Manny Garcia was introduced and his flag was ceremoniously raised into it's permanent display in the Sportatorium, as per stipulations from his match at BattleCade XIV. CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Arik Royal interrupted Garcia's celebration with his introduction to face Garcia for the title. The two battled tooth and nail for nearly a quarter of an hour before Royal finished the match with a convincing pinfall in the middle of the ring.
++Ultra-J Tag action was up for the New Years Knockout main event pitting the Aftermath's "Head Honcho" Trevor Lee & RGL Champion Chet Sterling against Lance Lude & Cedric Alexander. A marathon of high-risk moves and counters highlighted a fast-paced hard-hitting bout between four of the top-rated PWI Ultra-J Crown Contenders. With a half dozen or more near-falls, shortly after the twenty minute mark, Lude & Alexander were able to defeat the Aftermath's duo by pinfall.
