++PWI Night of Champions III kicked off with singles action pitting veteran "Iceman" Joe Storm against returning favorite "Michigan Assassin" Bobby Wohlfert. A violent and hard-hitting battle ensued with the active-duty Marine Wohlfert winning by pinfall. Wohlfert then took the house mic to announce he is about to embark on a 6 to 12 month absence from the squared circle due to surgery on one of his ankles. Lee Valiant interrupts and attacks the injured ankle of Wohlfert before being escorted out of the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium by security.

++Ten man tag team action was up next pitting the team of "Assassin" Ray Kandrack, "El Jefe" Manny Garcia, Ryan Zane, Jason Miller & "Lost Cause" Nick Richards against the squad of "the 1st" Ric Converse, "New Era" Jimmy Parker, Aaron Biggs, and the Mid Atlantic Outlaws' Matt Houston & Louis Moore. After eight or nine minutes, all ten men became engaged in a brawl, inside, outside and all around the ring. The official, feeling he'd lost all control, climbed back into the ring as all ten continued to battle on the floor. With one eye on the ring, when Parker saw an opportunity, he rolled into the ring and made an uncontested pin as the other eight men continued to battle through the referee's three count.
++Smith & Weston's Smith Garrett was out next to face CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Arik Royal in non-title singles action. Taking the opportunity, Garrett began complaining LOUDLY that it was "Night of Champions" and he should get a shot at the CWF gold. Royal quickly agreed and the ring official declared it a title bout, calling for the bell. Then Royal got a little angry. Twisting Garrett like a frozen pretzel, Royal forced him to submit, retaining the title in under five minutes! Then Marcellus "Mid Atlantic" King hit the ring in street clothes to remind Royal of their match on the 29th at CWF Madness In Any Direction 2014!
++CWF Mid Atlantic Television Champion Chase Dakota was out next with his championship challenger box filled only with current PWI champions. Drawing a name and presenting it to the referee, everyone huddled and Brad Stutts announced the name drawn was ECPW Tag Team Champion Mark James, who had previously quit CWF Mid Atlantic. James, with his baby in his arms begged off, told Stutts he wasn't dressed to wrestle and he was just there as a fan. Then Dakota took the house mic and made a fatal mistake by making reference to the genealogy of James' child. James handed off his son and hit the ring, hitting Dakota as the referee called for the bell. The bell rang again exactly 8 seconds later when the referee determined that the champion could no longer defend himself. James wins the title by a rare knockout!
++CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions Rage & the Machine's Michael McAllister & Mecha Mercenary were out next to take on the challenge of the once-again serious Killbillies' "Honky Kong" Evan Banks & "South Paw" Aric Andrews w/"Barefoot" Bobby Joe Neil. Action was hot and heavy when McAllister slid out of the ring, returning with a steel chair, which he threw into the ring. Another chair was tossed into the ring and the champions took a powder on the floor at ringside, unable to return because of the Killbillies' swinging the steel! The referee, however, saw who was wielding the steel chairs, calling for the bell disqualifying the Killbillies to give Rage & the Machine the win.
++Smith & Weston's Charlie Weston was out next to challenge the Aftermath's "Head Honcho" Trevor Lee for the PWI International Ultra-J Crown Championship. A very fast-moving bout erupted with both men showing off their offensive prowess inside of the squared circle. Lee positioned himself to deliver one of his deadly sick kicks across the forehead of Weston near the ten minute mark and the bout began leaning toward the champion's favor when he connected. Lee retains the title by pinfall in under fifteen minutes.
++Intermission, yes intermission, was interrupted by Chase Dakota, who entered through an exit curtain dragging "the 1st" Ric Converse to the ring with him. Dakota started getting irate, declaring that both he and Converse would just "leave CWF" if officials didn't return his TV Title to him. Converse hit his limit, exclaiming to Dakota that he does NOT speak for him as he exited the arena.
++CWF Mid Atlantic Rising Generation League Champion Chet Sterling, the Aftermath's #2, was out next to take on former champion Chris "Sho Smoove" Lea with the stipulation that the loser would be unable to compete for the RGL title until the next tournament in November 2014. An even battle broke out, a back and forth affair that saw both men hit big moves before the "Lost Cause" Nick Richards entered the arena grabbing a house mic and heading towards the bleachers. He talked down to Lea for the final five or six minutes of the bout, even advancing and talking about Lea's wife as Sterling took advantage of the distraction to get a clean pinfall win.
++PWI International Heavyweight Champion Shane "Hurricane" Helms hit the ring for the main event and waited as the challenger was "let into the building" from the back door. "The One Man R!ot" Zane Dawson hit the arena like a tornado and the two natural disasters collided in the middle of the squared circle! In under ten minutes, Dawson put himself in a position to effectively end the career of Helms by placing his surgically-repaired ankle inside of a folding steel chair and stomping it. In under eleven minutes Helms was writhing in pain on the canvas as "Assassin" Ray Kandarack joined the fray with Coach Gemini after the referee was injured. In under twelve minutes Dawson was handed the PWI International Heavyweight Title belt by officials, raising his hand, or at least attempting to. Helms had to be assisted getting out of the ring and left the arena limping noticeably.
