++Rising Generation League Champion ETHAN ALEXANDER SHARPE defeated "THE 1ST" RIC CONVERSE by forfeit after a visibly angry and resentful Converse gave a speech questioning his future at CWF Mid-Atlantic and walked out. Converse took issue with being called CWF's "past" in promotional materials that hyped the match and after losing to Arik Royal at Battlecade expressed that if he wasn't the face of CWF Mid-Atlantic after all these years, he didn't know if there was a place for him here anymore. Before a stunned and silent crowd, Converse proclaimed that the Ric Converse we've seen for the past 14 years died at Battlecade and walked out of the arena.
++JESSE ADLER stormed the scene after SHARPE had been declared the winner and offered to face him in an RGL Championship return match. Sharpe fled the scene and Adler was confronted by a returning ADAM PAGE, who questioned the heart of today's Rising Generation League stars compared to when he competed in CWF years ago. Page referenced the education he's received in the past year from The Decade and challenged Adler to prove himself against Page in a match.
++ADAM PAGE defeated JESSE ADLER after a hard fought battle with the Rite of Passage.
++Golden Ticket holder MARCELLUS KING defeated the debuting MASON MADDOX with the Murder Go Round.
++Television Champion MANNY GARCIA defeated CHARLIE WESTON after a power bomb.
++1/2 of the Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions CHET STERLING defeated "THE SOUTHERN SAVIOR" JOHN SKYLER with a small package.
++Skyler refused to leave ringside after the bout, saying that his shoulders weren't down and proclaiming that the second he set foot into the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium it became his house. ARIK ROYAL confronted Skyler and proclaimed himself the guard dog of CWF Mid-Atlantic. He backed Skyler down and gave an impassioned speech about what it means to him to be considered the franchise of CWF Mid-Atlantic. COACH GEMINI & THE ALL STARS interrupted Royal proclaiming that the "franchise" of CWF was ROY WILKINS, who Coach insisted should still be recognized as the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion. The All Stars swarmed Royal until his career-long rival RAY KANDRACK hit the ring and challenged for an impromptu tag-team match.
++ARIK ROYAL & "THE ASSASSIN" RAY KANDRACK defeated ROY WILKINS & WALTER EATON w/ COACH GEMINI & "CHAPPY" after BOTH Royal and Kandrack nailed their finishing moves on Wilkins.
++LEE VALIANT defeated EVAN BANKS by pinfall after a reverse DDT in an impromptu match. Banks initially talked to the crowd about the future of the Killbillies tag-team after ARIC ANDREWS appeared to quit the team at Battlecade. Banks expressed optimism before being confronted by Valiant that Andrews would ultimately return to the team after taking as much time as he needs to clear his head.
++Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion BRAD ATTITUDE w/ AMY LOVE defeated "THE LOST CAUSE" NICK RICHARDS in a fight to retain the championship. After the bout potential challengers LEE VALIANT, THE ALL STARS AND MARCELLUS KING all surrounded Attitude until the locker room emptied in support of Attitude as champion.
++As is tradition for the first event of the new year, the 2014 IndyInsiders.Com Year-End Awards were also announced as posted at http://www.indyinsiders.com/awards14.html
and CWF's technical director Grant Sawyer revealed our 2014 Images of the Year highlight reel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCufXe2RTvs
