In the '80s' the PMRC was all against Metal. Be honest all the PMRC would do is look at what's on the outside and not listen. You saw what these bands looked like and determined that they where trash. Twisted Sister-We're Not Gonna Take It, has nothing to do with satan. If you really listen to the lyrics you'll hear that they are saying 'We are no longer going to let you tell us what to do. We're not going to take it no more, we're not taking no more of your dictation. All the songs of Twisted Sisters' if you really listen to the lyrics you'll hear the great messages that are being but accross. Take 'Burn In Hell' it tells if you hear, see, or play with evil then your going to burn in hell. 80s' Motley Crue, Dokken, Van Halen, all top named 80's bands are not evil-devilish bands. It would be stupid for them to be what you claim they are. If they where they would have no fans no popularity. We fans like this music, if there are any fans who take use this music as an excuse for being a drug or alcohol addict or for an excuse for trying to commit suicide then these people had huge problems long before they even heard of these artists'. Now, take modern days, days of Rap, HIp-hop, and most modern rock bands. They straight out talk about doing drugs, drinking like fish, straight out using nasty curse words (M-F,Bit-,S.o.b.,Whore Slut)and you can turn on the radio, log on to web sites, watch videos', etc. and hear all this trash all day long. And nobody seems to give a damn. Theres' artists like Marilyn Manson out nowadays that where only given recording contracts because the companies they singed on with where and still are only thinking about the money that would come into their pockets. You people are all two faced. in the '80s' if bands said Hell-Damn-Shit they would have been banned and/or fined and sent to court. Now most of todays garbage can say and do practically anything they like and YOU don't say one thing about it. They are allowed to hide behind the Constitution and claim it's their 'Freedom of Speech' and you all let them use the stupid loop holes of today to get by with putting out their trash. Since the 80s' the only good band to come out with new music that is worth listening to is STRYPER. They are a Christian band. Use the common sense we all where born with, whether you belive in God or not, it's not the music it's the lyrics'-the message that is being put accross. Quit looking at the outside and look at what's on the inside.
