okay, i have big question for tipper: who do you think you are? you can't tell kids what to listen to! we (metal fans, rock fans and kids in general, i am all 3) will listen to what we want and our favorite musicians will write what they want. that's why they're artists. got it? it's art. didn't the same thing happen to andy warhol in a way? just so you know, not all parents agree with you. i am 13 now and my mother allowed my to buy an alice in chains record when i was nine which contain "angry violent lyrics" and the obesenity "shit". she lets me listen to what i want and wear what i want and her philisphy is that if you're fair and don't try to CENSOR your children, they won't rebel as much. which is true. i didn't even have to beg her to take me to marilyn manson. she said yes becasue she knows i love his work. even my 52 year old mother thinks you are a babbling idiot. music doesn't make people do anything, unless you're crazy like charles manson. so don't go flinging terms around and labeling music. just let it be!
