Yea an acoustic definetly has a unique, and full fretless sound. I can't think of anything else that can help.I'm assuming your bass has a piezo bridge setup, which is excellent but they tend to have a very sharp attack. I had to leave most of the treble and mids out, at the bass so the sound wouldn't be so sharp. I also turn the bass all the way up, with the low and high mids up 3/4 of the way, at the amp I hope this helps.
