So I wanna get into fretless and there's no way I can afford another "nice" instrument. I browse around harmony central and find out about the SX basses. Figure I can't go wrong for $130. What are peoples favorite (passive) J-pickups? Also, mention what string/pickup combination you like. I'm not trying for a Jaco sound.
