after getting bored with playing normal techniques, i felt it time to learn to slap, as i only have a fretles bass(stag fusion) it just never sounded right whatever settings i put in the effects pedal or on the amp. i've heard about some guy who put a brass plate at the end of the fretboard for the strings to hit but wasnt sure about it. i've also heard about people haveing a fret "put in" at the end.....
I can slap and tap fine on my mates fretted bass but it just doesn't work on mine. any ideas welcome,
