I am a drummer (15 years)making the jump to bass. I've been practicing every day for 6 months on a washburn bantum bass a friend loaned to me. I've progressed fairly well during this time and am ready to buy my own bass. I was all ready to invest in a very nice used 5 string warwick that I played for hours and fell in love with at the store...that was until I picked up this 4 string fretless (warwick).. I never considered one but my gawd, it felt great, no fret buzz, harmonics anywhere I chose, so I think I even sounded smoother overall.. I just imagined where the frets were and played it that way.. Question: Should a novice consider a fretless? what are the pros and cons..?
