Thanks Ruben. I know it is supposed to be harder and sometimes it seems that way but I love the sound. I was just wondering about the pros and cons of learning as a novice. You said you learned by accident. How did you do that..?
: I am a drummer (15 years)making the jump to
: bass. I've been practicing every day for 6
: months on a washburn bantum bass a friend
: loaned to me. I've progressed fairly well
: during this time and am ready to buy my own
: bass. I was all ready to invest in a very
: nice used 5 string warwick that I played for
: hours and fell in love with at the
: store...that was until I picked up this 4
: string fretless (warwick).. I never
: considered one but my gawd, it felt great,
: no fret buzz, harmonics anywhere I chose, so
: I think I even sounded smoother overall.. I
: just imagined where the frets were and
: played it that way.. Question: Should a
: novice consider a fretless? what are the
: pros and cons..?
