String recommendation for Tacoma acoustic fretless.

I'm looking for recommendations for replacing the
stock D'Addario roundwounds that are currently chewing on my fretless' rosewood fingerboard. Possibly something nylon tapewound, long scale and lighter gauge that would work with the sole piezo and retain that "growl." TIA!
