hi,im 15 yrs old and im currently playing a fretted yamaha sbv which i started out on 2 yrs ago.
however ive recently gotten into jaco pastorius and the smooth sound of fretless but unfortunatly i live in a tiny place in the north of england where fretlesses arnt that common.
so i was wandering if anyone from this side of bass playing has any tips for buying a fretless bass, ive only got a paper round so im not lookin for anything really expensive.
i did thing about buying a cheap tanglewood and defretting that with help from the handyman at school.so any tips wud be most appreciated.
