i want to clarify that i really do/did have an eye infection, and i really do have a doctor's excuse... i realize that what i said may have sounded like one of those sarcastic anti-authoritative remarks that i'm prone to making... but i did want to go, and i can only imagine what kind of drugs mike tomlin would've thought i was on, considering one of my eyes was red, and my pupils were disturbingly different sizes, and i winced everytime the light changed...
