well, not exactly fired-- the company is moving to paducah next year and my job will 'no longer be necessary'. so i'll get a severance (not too bad of one) and everything, and i don't have to worry about it til the beginning of next year sometime (im horping itll be as close as possible to may, since im graduating then)-- so..somewhat uncool (job searching is never fun) but i think it'll be cooler than not ultimately. my luck has never betrayed me when it counts.
