"early bird" convoy - meet at 34/72 rhodes @ 5:00 pm (ETD 5:30). meeting this "early" so that a good chunk of setting up/shooting can be done before sundown.
after that, you're pretty much on your own to get out there. but fear not, for not only is the drive easy and safe for all autos, i have provided two maps for assistance:
again, campsite is up by the old barns atop "muscle hill". there will be a generator and floodlights for "x-tended shooting".
i'll have a big pot of steak chili but other items are needed (PLEASE DONATE):
-hot dogs (w/ buns)
-chips
-a nice loaf of thick bread would be great for the chili
-smore stuff (figured somebody's gonna want em)
-plasticware (spoons and forks)
-paper plates AND bowls
-paper towels
- 1 or 2 tarps
most of this stuff is real cheap so please, claim something to bring, go to dollar general, and make it happen.
otherwise, bring the standard gear: tent, sleeping gear, chairs (hopefully not to be burned in the fire this year), YOBooze, extra food to cook (MUST store in your own cooler as space will be limited), flashlight, and etc.
if you have a 4-wheeler you want to bring out, that's cool, let me know the details (anybody?).
and as for shootin', it's open season. lots of skeet but will also have a metal .22 "spinning target" set up. would prefer no high power rifles but won't object. also, if you got stuff you wanna blow up (cans, milk jugs, photos, books by ayn rand), bring em. also, BRING YOUR OWN SHELLS!
