aithough ronnie biggs is a threat to no one and keeping him inside is ,in the grand scale of things a waste of our taxes ;there are some points we need to bear in mind .By escaping from prison for 36 years he lived the 'best' years of his life on the run,fathered a son ,became something of a celeb ,an anti hero sticking two fingers up to the establishment ;hung out with the sex pistols ,starred in a movie,watched his son become a superstar and generally lived his life to the full. As we all know ,you get nothing for nothing and ronnie is now paying the price for his 'free ' years .He could have gone to jail a young man and come out an old man but he chose to do it in reverse .And good for him ,i would have done the same .The reason they are keeping him in is because they have egg on their faces after his escape . He should have joined the IRA and done the robbery ,he'd be out by now and probably have compensation too !
