Afternoon all. You may have all recently seen the rise in abusive/racist messages left on this board. If not then perhaps it's because we deleted them before you had chance. Previously the only option we had to control this board was to delete the message and ban the user. However, users can just log on to another computer and continue posting their abusive messages. This can be frustrating but it's not tolerated and we make sure they never stay on the board much longer than 12 hours. Anyway, we have been working with our board providers and will over the course of this week be making a slight change to the message board to help eliminate these pointless messages. We will be introducing a sign up which means you will need to create your own account. All you will need to do is choose a user name and enter an e-mail address. A password will automatically be sent to that e-mail address and you will be able to sign on and post your messages as usual. The benefits to you:- - It's simple - It's free - Abusive messages of any kind will virtually disappear - A more friendly and fun community will be able to develop. - You will have your own account which, will be as simple as logging onto your Hotmail, Yahoo or AOL accounts). We have been working with our providers for a while making suggestions and having long conversations on how to improve our service to you. This is just the first step in the right direction. Enjoy.
