Looking at all of the people (e.g., Russ Mitchell, Steve Chamraz, Russel Kinsaul) who have moved from KC to STL on their way to bigger things, it's pretty clear that if you graduate from a KC station to an STL station, you have the chops. But if you go from an STL to a KC station, your career is headed into the toilet.
